  • nicole im on dads com and i love you

  • @CarolinaCountryGuy so did I :) My dad would play this in the car when I was so young and to this day I love this man and his music!

  • I remember my uncles used to love to sing Fats Domino songs, now we do hard...lol

  • my great-grandmother would always talk about how this random dude would sing this to her everyday as she walked to the bus stop in 1959...eventually they went on a date and the rest is history...here i am today lol

  • @gogitta25 Yor Great-Grand Pop must have had it going on for sure!

  • @gogitta25 Oh, I just love your story. How cool, he was persistent and in the end it paid off for him. Hope your great grandparents had a very happy life. Cheers.

  • @gogitta25 Sadly if a man were to do that today, they would be called a stalker and be filed for sexual harassment or something =/ lol

  • @2100Rose Same i only ever heard Blubery hill didnt even know it was him that sang it!! :)

  • Fats is rock and roll music.

  • @JimboGee1234 I didn't mean that I'm just saying that a lot of black people have done a lot of cool things is WHY we should HATE racism.

  • @mongproductions1 I understood what you meant even thought Jimbo didn't. Now please let's just drop it. This channel is all about the music that brings us together - not about things that push us apart.

  • @JimboGee1234 He didn't say that at all. Please drop that subject and keep the discussion on the music - both of you.

  • nothing but massive =D

  • With what amazing things many black people done (such as Fats Domino, Michael Jackson, etc.) this is why we should hate racism.

  • this song is in rock and chips

  • @cat3347 thats why i was looking for this song on here!=)

  • I wants to walk you home ....great song

  • only 23 and you love this.Im 63 and this is the only music that makes me feel 23 again

  • omg My great grandma loved this song...she was such a beautiful woman and i always would hear stories about many men who were always after her trying to win her over. her nick name was"foxy mama" lol

  • hes the Barry White of the 50's.

  • I always suspect some sort of depressing moment during this song...

  • This song gives me shivers down my spine....

  • A #1 hit for Fats Domino on the Rhythm & Blues charts. It was the 53rd #1 R&B hit of the Rock Era.

  • uhh yeah it is. My grandpa has pictures of him and other people dancing dirty to music like this taken by a cheap old box camera that he used to own. Hes got some wild stories behind each and every one of those pictures. Just listen to the riffs man, its there.

  • @animal03181989 I thought you meant the lyrics. It sounds to me like your grandpa and his friends were sexual rather than the song. LOL

  • @John1948FourD lol perhaps them and everybody that was in the club dancing

  • this song is sexual and thats alright.

  • @animal03181989 No, it's not. It's about a young man wanting to ask a girl out in hopes of marrying her. Back in the day it went, date, get married and then have sex.

  • @John1948FourD Though I don't think that tis song is about trying to get sex I don;t think you're necessarily correct. Good song though.

  • @jobblas I may have exaggerated a bit to make my point. :D

  • Timeless Classic*...thank you for this great song!

  • My all time favorite by a man who is a legend in his own time. One of the greats.

  • liever live-beelden!!

  • Finally found a song that perfectly captures the way I love a girl ^^

  • I was watching ''Rock N Chips'' and I heard this song and love'd it!

  • so this the song my great grandmother was talk about huh,,,she told me the story of this boy that was in love with her in the 50's that would alwayz sing this to her

  • @gogitta25 Let's see - you are 38 so your mother would probably be about 58; your grandmother 78; and your great grandmother 98. This song was popular in 1956 when great gramma was 44. hmmm???? Interesting.

  • @John1948FourD ;lol im 17 thats not my real age..i dont put my real info on youtube..and by the way my great grandmother is 81

  • i always want to walk her home....im too cheap to pay for TWO bus seats

  • @teehonky Haha - My home town was 24 blocks (2 miles) east and west and 12 blocks north and south. We could walk anywhere.

  • @John1948FourD Of course there was hardly anywhere to go. LOL

  • @John1948FourD is this a town or a football field???

  • @teehonky We had a really nice stadium right behind the Jr. Sr. High building. Concrete bleachers lights for night games etc. It all fit nicely inside our 2 square mile town. It's official name was Millard, Nebraska but we knew it was really Heaven!

  • @John1948FourD we had a nice field too..except we had to chase away all the homeless migrant workers who tried to use the field for their bedrooms ..and toilets...they finally had to put hard astroturf down onit in 1980,it smelled so bad

  • im a young man and i drink to this all the time and i give my all for the greats!!!!

  • love love love this song i'd only ever heard snippits of the song but finally heard it for the first time in full when i watched bbc's Rock n chips trying to buy it on a dincted 45 for my jukebox ??.. x
