  • you suck at eve, point it to use ships under tech of the one you atack,a pilgrim vs 2 ruptures is too easy.go back to lvl 3 missions now

  • Sorry but this is not the way to fly an Amarr recon against a Rupture. You should have used NOS ONLY, no neuts against rupture cuz it's pointless and wastes your only supply of cap. The only thing that's stopping him from killing you is the TDs, so you better be able to feed your whole row of mids, otherwise you either die or lose him.

  • @garfify Right firstly you should always neut in these ships with the bonus they give two keeping him neuted is always a good idea, as if you need to warp you can warp at will, since no cap = no warp disrupter, secondly I'm guessing that rupture had a armour repairer on board as well as some form of hardener, cutting the cap also solves this problem, thirdly, what if he has a web? wouldn't capping him be a better idea? Yes I agree it was a bit sloppy he could have stopped one of the neuts at 25%

  • lol at osprey with lazors

  • Nice video, you have inspired me to get one ;D

  • Skillz..

  • Damn fine job sir! o7

  • Whats the song?

  • Кто исполнитель песни ?

  • pilgrim and curse are very nice ships

  • nice vid , i fly curse/pilgrim on 2 of my chars now. Not that i duel box them . too much micro management heh. But they are great ships. I was blobbed by 15 or so hacs recons intys ect managed to nuet out their tacklers kill one and almost made it into warp ( , alas I'm still learning lol

  • i loled at the corm and osprey.

  • Great music great flying. i like the plate/rep with 3 neuts for myself.

  • I really enjoyed this video. I'm able to fly a curse in 4 days, and can't wait. I like your fit but the cap stability in my opinion is an issue. But great vid and beat.

  • Yeah the cap can be a problem, but you'll always have cap as long as your enemy does. Its an interesting fit to play with though. I eventually just went with a more standard single rep/plate fit.

  • @remkade yeah i would also throw a cap booster on there

  • well he was mos def track dissing that rupture which is prolly why he couldn't pop the drones. nice tank on the grim though. overall just real solid fit.

  • that osprey went fast lol

  • wow those 3 should definately just quit the game

  • you never had to fight a pilgrim have you?

  • i have a pilgrim. and 2 cruisers and a destroyer should kill one.

  • first of all an osprey is used to rep and mine. the rupture was getting tracking disrupted. and a corm.. come on its a destroyer. it will go pop easy with 5 t2 hammerheads and drone interfacing lvl 5.

  • regardless its a sad story

  • at once, yes.... but not in this situation

  • Very nice flying there m8. Mind if I ask the name of the song? o/

  • neuting a ruppie to the point it ant run its mwd is the only viable solution, AC dont use cap =)

Still TDs are anoying as hell

  • forgot to say, nice flying, and good vid

  • Thanks. :)

  • Silly fight :) Rupture wasnt moving at all, they should have killed your drones.. Confused Cormorant pilot - not engaging in time. Confused Osprey pilot - not warping out when he had the chance.

  • Rupture was actually moving. HIs problem was he had an MWD and not an AB and I had a warp dis + web and neuts on him. You're definitely right though, the other two guys should have ran when they had a chance.

I convoed them and gave them some PVP pointers though afterwards since they were very new to pvp.

  • @remkade rupture still should have gone for your drones though

  • @remkade thats very good of ya. I had a mission thief do also give advice to me a while back. Now I going to do it myself =-)

  • Yeah, I thought the same. He had 15 light drones it looked like, but with 3 ships it really would have been a better option. The Cormorant could have possibly done some real damage to the drones.

  • Very well flown Pilgrim :) I started EVE again a few months ago with the aim being to fly t2 Amarr cruisers masterfully. Still doing support skills but at least when i get my SS skills i'll be ready to own face. Again, love the setup, wouldn't have considered putting a web on the pilgrim but your cap control is immaculate, you don't need a cap booster or anything.

Question though, did you wait for your cap to nearly bottom out to switch from neuts to nos, or was that just an error?

  • @DRoadkill, the nos is more effective the lower your cap is, so it's best to save it after neuting someone

  • Emoklan is right. The other nice thing is that since Nos doesn't use up your cap you can just leave it on, which I should have done. However with both my neuts on his cap was significantly lower than mine already so the Nos wouldn't have done anything either way.

  • I don't understand why the cormorant didn't go to town on your drones. since you were fully passive tanked, I don't think you'd have stood a chance in the long run if you lost your drones. bad decision right there. also, kudos to the rupture!

  • Possibly. I had several flights of drones so it was really just a matter of time till I popped the corm.

  • btw, what song?

  • Im wondering... Full tank without MAR... Cap stable with low tank... Which one...

  • I'm not a huge fan of the setup I have in this video actually. It works great in low sec where you can dock up and repair if you just carry around a repper. Bad setup for 0.0 though since you rarely can dock up and repair.

Plus, since it usually takes a while to kill someone in a pilgrim, a tank that you can sustain forever gives you a huge advantage. Go for Recon 5 though if you are serious about the pilgrim. Makes it infinitely easier to fit.

  • wouldnt it be possible for the rupture to stay out of nos range? Could it have won this way?

  • Theoretically yes. The problem is that I had neuts, a warp dis, and a web all on him. And since I decloaked within range he didn't have the ability to run.

If he had gotten out of range though I could have cut his gun range by about 75% with the double tracking disruptors.

  • Which scripts were you using? and if you hadn't overloaded the rack would you have lost? Asking so i can get out there in my pilgrim =)

  • The overloading didn't really matter that much.

I was using tracking speed reduction scripts.

  • lol stopped skilling my old toon and started skilling for a pilgrim to. with the remaps and implants right from the start i should have one in about two month. the great thing is that u can really specialize on this ship. no gunnery, no shield skills no missiles. just E-war and drones. IO realized that the pilgrim is the fastest recon to get into :D

  • Great, 1 smartbomb in the targets highslot and cya drones along with the pilgrim =/

  • You need capacitor to use smartbombs. I could just pull drones neut him dry and then send in the drones.

  • it is. even the thorax does not have a chance on a well fittet rupture

  • The Pigrim doesn't have a massive DPS output. This was the worst possible match up the pilgrim would come up against. A passive tanked, capless gun using ship. So not all that surprising honestly.

Were the Pilgrim a Hac of some kind, we would have seen the rupture pop much much faster.

So whatever, it ended up being a Pilgrim vs a Rupture. Of course the Pilgrim won, but was going against the worst possible match-up so no suprise he didnt go down very quikly.

  • Yeah it have been my favorite ship in about half a year now, you can do so much with it + it have enough lowslots to be able to tank :P

  • you where the rupture pilot? if thats the case i must give you a little salute, that is longest ive ever seen a Rupie hold in a pvp fight with that many enemies.

  • i know ill nuet a rupture

  • what´s the name of the music?

  • I don't remember actually. It was one of the ones in youtube's audio swap thingy.

  • Congratulations on taking down 2 t1 cruisers and 1 destroyer. Not that big of a feat considering you that the ships only cost a 10th of what your's did, and had relatively the same percentage of lethality. The only thing i do give you kudos for is that garmon style rupture, i've flown one and they are tough nuts to crack, but then again you had the same amount of raw armor hp with much higher resists, and you were sporting cap warfare.

  • Awesome, looking forward to it. This will be part of a vid later on too. I need a few more fights first.

  • Fail baggery. Why did you post this? You beat 2 cruisers and a destroyer in a t2 ship. One of those was 5 days old. Why bother posting this ;p

Get yourself in a bs and tank and entire fleet like in 'built like a rokh' and come back then.

Also, LOL you were in half armour when they popped.

  • Well that one rupture could have taken on most t2 ships itself. Triple trimarked and well piloted. He just couldn't really deal with the ewar I had. Battle ships aren't nearly as exciting as soloing in a recon.

I was tanking the rupture's drones + the other cruiser and destroyer and the rat in a passive armor tank so its really not surprising I was only half armor.

  • That Rupture pilot have my Respect, and im glad to hear your have the same.. cos i have never seen a Rupture stand up that long to a t2 cruiser... if i had been him, i would have warped out when you lost your lock on him,

    a sweet kill, :D

  • Great fight. Which drones did you use?

  • Hammerhead IIs

  • Nice man, I'm training for a curse/pilgrim now only 100 days to go :S.

  • now that looked like fun. . . very nice fight, reminds me of my pirate days lol :)

  • Get em grann your sick at pvp dude
