Useless information: Dogs usually bark if the door bell rings because they do not get lots of attention except when somebody visits and greets them frantically. Door bell means friggin' huge event, something happening finally.

These devices can work similar to a dog whistle. Unfortunately a dog whistle can be adjusted to the sound that the dog can pick up, this device is limited and not all dogs will respond to it(?).

And once the professional dog trainer approves the dog is trained, then the dog owners can keep it. Otherwise, the dog owner cannot keep the dog. Period. In addition, neighbors can request retraining to the local authohrities if the dog eventually misbehaves. As a part of this no barking law, if owners want security, they have to buy a security alarm system -- PERIOD. Train the dog or else.

In my opinion is doesn't matter if they say its humane or not. DOGS ARE SUPPOSE TO BARK!!! Its a natural response for dog when they feel threatened, scared, or to warn their owners of intruders, ect.
