  • The Tom Waits impression is spot on. Kudos.

  • Great work! One of the widest ranges I've seen when it comes to gravelly voices!

You're quite talented in your other videos with more "regular" voices as well, but I consider you unmatched in gravelly voices!

  • the "guy from slingblade" is billy bob thorton :p

  • HAHA good stuff man! Now I know that Louis Armstrong begat both Cookie Monster and Yoda! Happy holidays to you~

  • No, Grover.

  • Grocer.

  • And a great Holiday to you too what ever Voice you are in!

  • Well, one would expect Cookie Monster and Yoda to be close. Might include Fozzie there as well. ;-)

  • merry christmas!

  • @marniespeaks And to YOU! Sorry the cartoon contest has taken a hiatus...

  • Distinction is key! It's not always a drastic change between voices. It's the little things that matter too. This is a great example. Like in James Arnold Taylor's stage show where he does a skit about similar voices. They're similar, but have distinct qualities that sets them apart. I love this. I don't see a lot of things addressing such and it's awesome. Great job as always, Jim! :D

  • @VocalAwesomeness Thanks very much! I'll look up the actor you reference.
