  • How fast does it go?

  • @NVHSChadSheppard1 800FPM maybe - just a rough estimate.

  • Aren't there 48 floors?

  • Shake rattle and roll, that's a noisy elevator.

  • this hotel looks crappy

  • Scary elevator!!! I COULD NOT |MAKE IT 47 FLOORS!!! Rumbles, squeaks, and shakes, is bad!!!

  • are there service elevators that go up to 10-24?

  • AWESOME

  • I see GL on indicator, but not on buttons, why?

  • Gearless sure!!

  • Why does it go to ten

  • Floor 10 contains convention space.

  • I stayed in that hotel in 1993. It was very nice. I never knew that they had these elevators! thanks for showing us these! great video! the doughnut was kind of scary though!

  • The Marriott Marquis is quite an amazing hotel. Every time I go there, I'm still amazed at the atrium.

  • DEFINATE remodernization wouldn't wanna be in that trash for 47 floors

  • Do your ears pop whenever you ride the passenger and service elevators?

  • That is an interesting direction indicator buzz.

  • Someone didn't finish that donut on the elevator!

  • What EL mean?

  • I think it's ML - Marquis Level

  • There was a EL on the panel. What is it?

  • I think its the Current International Level. In history, Marquis level was the Convention Level, and Atrium was Garden Level

  • @musicfreakcc nope it says EL

  • @musicfreakcc motor lobby

  • Also, at 3500 Lbs, that's too small for a service elevator, and I guess even an express zone is used for workers.

  • Are those A.K.A (also known as) freight elevators?

  • so u just got on

  • Correct

  • did the elevators still have that sign about riding with pride?

  • Nope.

  • That sure is fast for a service elevator, and it's interesting how there's an express zone on this elevator, rather than all floors served.

  • It's quite cool that they have 2 banks of service elevators.

  • Yes, I find it rather unique too.

  • It is very fast for a service elevator! I don't know why they have express zone, probably because allot of workers use the service elevators

  • very fast elevator what is the built year from this elevator?

  • 1985

  • What does EZ stand for at 1:53

  • Express Zone

  • that elevator seem to have a lot clicking sounds

  • Why do you choose not to go to floors CL, EL, P1 or P2 in this video? Why did you skip the tour on floors CL, EL, P1 and P2?

  • Because I can.

  • Owned.

  • There used to be signs in those elevators that said "ride with pride Keep your elevators clean"

  • I hope that pause wasn't you getting in trouble.

  • No, it was me trying to free up my memory card.

  • Howd u get on these

  • I went to the top floor first.

  • You can see how to get there in another video at 3:00 - v=nBD7H6lNtRY
