just played through the game. I hate the ending, this sucks ass big time... she dies and all...
but what strikes me as weird is the fact that there were multiple undiscovered locations on the map of the New York and Rome. Why the hell put those inactive locations there at all when you can never even get there? Isn't there some sort of alternate thingy or whatever?

Well fellow fans of adventure games, I can recommend another series which are very nicely done and atmospheric (like old Broken Sword ones :DD) from coming from Czech Republic, called The Black Mirror. I'm going through the last one, and I'm nicely suprised. Have fun, keep the genre alive :)
I admit this game was kinda hard to solve puzzles because of the manuscripts, but this ending not even worth it! with all the brain juices I used ... all I got was just a lame ending.
I'm the biggest fan of Broken sword who ever lived and can't face playing the fourth all the way through, it's like a mirror image of what made the old games great, complete garbage!
I've never played this game but that ending was just horrible...worse than FF8's "Oh! we're all from the same orphanage!" and "time traveling witches from the future!".
Why did the insist on screwing with this game for numbers 3 and 4? Didn't they understand how brilliant the first two were, I got so excited by them and when this crap came out I could have cried.

@danteindarkness Broken sword Became famous Because of those 2d Animations.....and effects...i Dont know..why they put this Genre to 3d....Sleeping dragon and this 4 sequel Didn't hit expected Success...Now they are planning for broken sword 5....lets hope they bring 2d Back

Yep, Broken sword is mostly a crappy make up game from Gabriel Knight. Also shows to see that the writters become increasingly lazy with each sequel.

I played this average game the whole way thorugh and forced myself to the end to see how the story concludes............ and that's all we get.
In my opinion the worst of the four. Even though there were many touches of genius throughout the game
