@babyj1996 Because in the 80's - i assume long before you were born- the bigger, wilder and more daring the hair the better, also the company they signed up at the time (capitol) chose that image for them, high heels, fake nails, heavy make up, lace, cleavages, and very big hair.

@alexmonger11 Definitely. Her own hair was quite fine. To achieve the big look for videos such as WHAT ABOUT LOVE, out came the long coloured wigs. The big wigs were also designed to try and hide Ann's weight.
