Except for the great 2 player co-op, Ordyne still had plenty to learn from this game.

@Nintendough I wish Ordyne had more of a weapon selection but I still liked it better then Fantasy Zone personally. Why did you like this one more?

@starsoldier1
Fantasy Zone had some good things going for it like...
* Ability to turn around & go where you want -- spend more time farming weapon-upgrade money.
* Shoot the bases, beat the bosses -- simple & makes it easy to plan for upcoming battles.
* I thought it had a bit smoother control in general than Ordyne.
* Upbeat boppy music preferable to Ordyne's surly drunken clown theme.
Overall I thought Fantasy Zone was less frustrating, but I do think Ordyne had more depth.
@Nintendough Surly drunken clown theme? Heh heh, you make some good points there.
The Turbografx version looks better than the SMS and NES version.

Definitely, the game looks almost identical to it's arcade counterpart.

I'd give it a 78, cause you can move all around the screen. But yeah the weapons piss me off.

The game can be a lot of fun yeah. I just hate how short it is.
There are TONS of short classics out there!
Games like the first Prince of Persia, or Axeley.
game looks pretty

i would say 50 out of a 100 is being generous, this really doesn't look like something i could get into. good review

Yeah the game is pretty damn lame, but it did have a few shining moments of greatness since it did remind me of Defender.
Good review. Those graphics look pretty polished for the time.

The Turbografx-16 version does look pretty damn good especially compared to the other versions.
Does your voice sound tinny in this review, starsoldier?

Yeah, I bit. I was too far away from the mic this time and there was no bear buzz either ya know.
Nice vid dude. I remember playing the NES version as a kid.
