  • @WorldTurnBlack Hey don't dis Stargate it's the best Fuckin scifi show on the planet

  • What an excellent show.I really enjoyed watching it,and the actors, and music was great also.Nick Glennie Smith,is a great composer. It's too bad those greedy idiot producers from Canada who produced this series, let this great show go to waste, and did absolutely nothing to make it better, but instead just canceled it.I just hope some other producers from the US,finally decide to bring it back on TV again, like they did with other shows that where also canceled in the past.

  • Michael Praed? From Robin of Sherwood?? Is it the same guy?? If so he looked awesome :D

  • omg! i used to watch this show when i was younger I loved it I don'y know why they took it off : (

  • Nick Glennie-Smith is the composer... He wrote amazing themes for this show. Unfortunately, no soundtrack was released...

  • plz plz plz pleeeeezzzzzzzzzz someone tell me WHO PLAYS this music??!!! I have scoured the internet trying to find info on the artist. The music is great and I want to know who made it!

  • It is a plagiarism from the movie Armageddon. I do not know who is the author of this version but for me personally is not the only plagiarist not author, and nothing more. This series I liked a while a soundtrack instantly linked with Armaggedon. In conclusion you want to see who the real author of this track see the film Armageddon.

P.S author of Soundrack in Armageddon is Aerosmith.

  • @LowSweetChariot "The series' main theme and incidental music was composed by Nick Glennie-Smith. In April 2011, Perseverance Records released a 2-CD soundtrack of the series' music. The soundtrack included the main theme, closing theme, "bumpers" (played at commercial breaks), and suites from every episode of the series apart from "The Book of Knowledge", for which the composer and the recording studio were unable to locate the original tapes."

  • I watched this several years ago on TVP in Poland, i very like this. But this soundtrack is from "Armageddon".

  • This show was an absolute joy to watch. Very unique characters and setting of time. I wish they would have continued the show. Other than that the few episodes that are available are gems.

  • Why don't they put this on d.v.d?? It was a great show!! I'd be the first first person to buy them!!

  • I think there was a problem between the producer and writer of the series, so that's why we never saw a dvd of it. The best you can do is tape the episode when it will pass on tv again, and even then, I'm not sure if they are still playing it... Maybe I'll try to put some episode one day... but I don't have many, only one downloaded to be seen on computer... so, it all be long before I get more.

  • Thanks!! Hope to see them soon!! And maybe theres a website that plays whole episodes?

  • I don't know, you should do your research yourself. I was able to get the episode ''The Golem'' via LimeWire. Any other episode I got are on videotape, and I don't exactly know how to load from a tape to the computer... so all I can do is probably do only small clips while filming the tv screen (if you want a look of what it may look like, click on my Marguerite Volant video).

  • this use to be on the sci-fi channel, and I miss this show too I even love the theme music to it. I remember this show playing then Lexx would come on after, good shit. But if you want the show out of desperation, you're going to have to resort to pirating using torrents.

  • I love this opening

  • aw, i loved this series.

  • yes..where can I find it now? please, help, they are never going to air it again here in Poland:/

  • I'm sorry to tell you but there never was a vhs or dvd that came out. All you can do is tape it if it ever replay in Poland... Or start a petition (there was some already in the past and it didn't change anything, the fight between some people producing the serie never ended).

  • *sigh* i really miss sajv!

    such a classy show!

  • I miss it too! lol

  • ive been trying to find the theme song to that intro, and i dont know whats its called or who does it... all i know is ive heard it before, and that sounds like a re-mix. any help? thanks haha

  • I'm sorry, I can't help you on that... only it the opening of the series 'The secret adventures of jules Verne' as you already know...

  • Really?

Well that's to bad that I don't have this channel...

But that's still good news, thanks for the information!

  • Such a fantastic show. I really wish it was still on the air in Canada.

  • Yeah! I know! I'm hoping the same thing than you... but I've read somewhere on many fansite that the producer and the writer (not sure wich people, but something like this) were in conflict... Whatever this is, there is a conflict, and so they can't put the tv series on DVD... Also, if I'm not mistaken, that's why they got problem to show it on tv... :(

  • Ah, that would explain it. Really disappointing news, though. :( I hope someday it gets settled.

  • Aha! It's back on the air, in Canada anyway. Watching it right now on Space.
