This is really what an amv should be. The effects were timed with the music, instead of blindly shoved in. Even the lip-sync is on beat! Surprisingly, the song is perfect for Takada.

Well, Misa does commit suicide one year after the end of the series, So you might say she dies too.

She kills herself on the Valentine's Day after Light's death, according to series creator Tsugumi Ohba.

Although, Ohba does say a number of times that "Death Note is about readers coming to their own conclusions..." so you could argue that...

Or you could also argue that simply because she isn't killed in what we see of the story that she technically survives.

The manga timeline is, in fact, the one I was referring to in which Misa commits suicide the year after light dies. In the Manga, her exact date of death is listed (In volume 13 of the manga) as 2/14/2011. When you consider that the Anime sticks almost perfectly to the manga, with the one biggest exception being that the numerical years in which they take place are just a couple of years apart, you can surmise that she does the same in the anime. But as I said, readers can make their own choice.
