Those rope funnels may be hard to spot when you are driving until they are right on top of you. They probably should have stopped further back & examined the low wall cloud for rotation & let it pass by.

um that crash was the least of ur wurrys, at top right at 0:41 a dusttdevil was about to turn into a fucking tornado but went back up into the sky like the other tornados. u guys were lucky to get out of that alive. that thing was about 20yds away from ur car. u wouldve been screwed if that thing turned into an X2

@RedeemerX97 Dude, they didn't crash. That "dust devil" (actually just a weak tornado, a dust devil is something entirely different) is what caused the damage to their car (you could argue that technically it was the debris that caused the damage), it hit them before passing over to where you see it in the video.

When beneath a tornadic supercell, it is common to see brief spin-ups. These are tornadoes but are typically weak and short-lived. Where they will spin up is anyone's guess.
