And for your pop shuvits, put your back foot more up so you can get it around better, then scoop and jump forward, But remember watch your front foot so It doesnt get in the way., gl msg if anything
Do you still need help? On kickflips? I had the same problem. I rushed into doing it and yeah. Try to bend your knees, move your front foot more toward the middle and try to stay as straight as you can, you will get the feel of the board where it heads sometime in the front or back. Eventually you'll know where to move to and land it. Practice in the grass its easier.
on the pop shuvits just stay over your board and on ur kick flips dont turn your body and try to ketch your board with your right foot just kick jump and land
i did the exact same thing when i was learning kickflips. you just have to commit and dont turn your body. if you just let it rotate underneath you its easy. and you should learn kickflips first without so much pop.
@zeroskater491 you are putting your front foot to far towards the middle. you want your toes to be just on the bolts and your heel near the center. you must jump higher and tuck your knees more. try to land your back foot on the board first if not at the same time as the first. if you do not you might land before the board (:
you wanna get pop shuvs down really really good before kickflips. just watch PJ Ladd's flatground fundamentals for shuvits. and that pop shuv it didnt count
Take your time. set up your feet. focus on being above the board and flick your ankle

Dude Activeskatr is right about the kickflips, but with th pop shuvs its going away from you. Try to go lighter on the pop or jump higher.
