I LOVE my Samson

Absolutely fallen in love with Samson!! I'm getting a border collie puppy later this year, and you've both inspired me to do this kind of training! It's so clear that Samson absolutely loves his life and owner and I'd love to have a similar bond with my pup :-) x

@ToPeVeNtErr I know this question isn't for me, haha :) but I do own and train collies.

You can't have a smarter dog than another dog. Usually when people refer to "Smart" dogs they mean they're quick and eager to learn tricks.

A lot of trainers tend to say that the female is an easier sex to train. However this is because the male is highly sexed and is looking for a mate causing the dog to have behavioural problems. If he is neautered, it will be as easy to train as a female.

My old border collie GLENN was like that, petrified, whilst my other bc MEG was not phased at all. Thankfully for Glenn, he went deaf at 15 so the last 2 years of his life he could hardly hear them lol. He went on to live to 17

Ooooh SARAH! I can't tell you how excited I was when I logged onto youtube today!!! A NEW VIDEO OF SAMSON!!! But before I could click it, the computer crashed and it took me about 40 minutes to get it up and running again, I was going insane because I wanted to watch this video so bad, I ate about 4 buns with cheese while I waited, hahaha! I LOVE THIS. I am so shocked at how well Samson can stand and walk so far from you! When Sparky stands he can't bear to back away for than 7 feet, haha!
