  • This is cool, thanks!

  • OMG this is just so awesome! I truly can't thank you enough for posting this masterpiece. Goosebumps and tears abound, thankyou so much for these memories...........perfect, just perfect.......i close my eyes and i'm there watching. THANKYOU!!!!!

  • Thanks!!! This is awesome! great sound!

  • really, ballroom blitz too, excellent!!, still dont understand why it was put on tho!...this although relatively short in length is still the best queen botleg I have heard in terms of quality and musicianship, again many thanks for making my day!!

  • @MrStu1211

Maybe somebody mixed up Queen and Sweet (I guess the names sort of sound similar), or it was done as a joke. Otherwise, I have no clue either. And yeah, it was probably to fill up time to round out Side 2.

  • Cant elieve im hearing this again, thanks for posting!!....my mate had a vinyl copy of this back in 79 -80ish..never thought i would get to listen again, the quality is superb and Queen although not at their peak b any means were starting to get there..the vinyl copy my mate had had bizarrely enough a final track of The Sweet's "Ballroom Blitz" !!!!

  • @MrStu1211

Yes, my copy has "Ballroom Blitz" on it too, but I faded out this recording before it came on. I'm glad it brought back such great memories!

  • where did this gig take place

  • @Isle0fRed

Recorded live at The Rainbow Theatre, March 31st, 1974, London, England, during the Queen II tour...

    Rock on!

  • Fantastic! Great quality, thanks a million for posting and for all your hard work to make it so crystal clear!!! This performance really highlights Freddie's incredible enunciation, you can understand his every single word no matter how fast he's singing. To all those mumblers and other pretenders out there.... THIS is how it's done!!!!

  • You rock! Thank you again for sharing this. It's always a treat to come across some new Queen recordings. It makes the old songs 'new again'. C:
