so much respect earned tb... like +1000, means nothing to anyone but its great to hear a person break down the arguments against gaming (not just wow, i personaly cant stand the game but understand MMO's because i play most noatably Maplestory) and show the faults and holes int them. if this was shown to the world i think (WARNING POOR ESTIMATION AHEAD AND IS IN NO WAY A FACT) 45% of people would at least have a changed opinion for the better about gaming (and yes wow as well)

I love MMO's. I'm playing one right now. But the problem is, development which is so attractive and easy to see in a MMORPG, often overrides that desire to better oneself in the real world. It is a time sink, and you do learn useful skills, true, but all those skills are better learnt where they can be directlty applied to the real world.

As in, Playing football with a team, you have to synchronise with everyone, or they are all pissed at you too. But you also develop more skills at the same tim

If other things like books had no end, would you say that those people reading them are addicted too, because they enjoy reading them?
