  • You put the thermal paste on wrong, why do people spend tons of money on a great system and do something wrong? You should know what you're doing if you're building a computer...

  • Um just wondering how often do you have to change the solution and how much is yearly upkeep?

  • Where is the AMD PHENOM results? I'm curious.

  • i don't like coils, although they can save u sometimes but u can also use other technics to "mold" the hose to the deisered turn heating them up,in my opinion without the coils looks better

  • i like the video but i have a question about the thermal compound isnt that too much? well atleast thats wut ive seen so far say

  • Thanx mate ! u helped me undirectly to chooose best Processor For me :)

    n u did a great Job :)

  • Вот и еби себя своим навороченым ПК хуй Американский !!!

  • This song starts to get annoying

  • sexy video card

  • No ESD protection? Yikes! :)

  • Groovy, can you build me a TARDIS Plz?

  • *mutes audio

  • omg well good!!!!!!!! =0

  • whats the price of an liquid H2O cooler?

  • Wow, the world some people live in these days with such technology. Nice video.

  • Fucking awsome rigs.....

  • nice rig what do think is better intel or amd

  • which of the 2 systems do you like best? intel or AMD?

  • @IggyB3 I like both. The differences in performance are so minute that it’s hard to notice them unless you’re benchmarking. Intel is slightly faster, AMD is least expensive.

  • @PUA687 dude intel's I-7 975 DESTROYS THE X4.. just saying

  • @IggyB3 Intel for laptop, AMD for desktop

  • This kind of stuff makes macs look like toys.

  • Your an FSX guy, awesome.

  • Nice.

Have you considered other methods of applying thermal compound? I find your method poor.

    Otherwise fantastic!

  • officially bad ass

  • Wow that was awsomr

  • My shooter my shooter my shooter

My shooter my shooter my shooter

My shooter my shooter my shooter love this song

  • wow man bloody hell awesome configuration....!!!! hey can you please temme me the specs of the video card that you have used!

  • mute

  • money!

  • Using a razor blade to spread the paste is easier and you get a thiner layer and lower temps.

  • amd rules

  • as it is called the song you used in your video

  • Do you sell drugs or what?

  • Че т я не понел что тут делали

  • holy shit dude thats like

    pocket change for me LOL

  • Meu sonho um pc desse ! Great Video !!!

  • @vanzinhiuga somos 2

  • dude u need way more screens ;)

  • did i just look at 170 frames per second..

  • Pua687 thanks

  • What program u use for torture test?

  • @kurzer1r I use OCCT

  • @razerinfinity we dont know nothing about Bulldozer.

  • unfär der amd is älter

  • You have too many monitors, please give me one.

  • AMD is in desperate need of their new Bulldozer CPU to compete with Intel. As mentioned, Intel did not even need to deliver a full iteration of Sandy Bridge to match AMD's best. Isnt a matter of opinion is just the way it is...a fact

  • Hey I know this video is a bit old, but by far it’s the best I’ve come across. I have recently built a pc and I’m still adding stuff to make it better. What I would like to know is if I should get a liquid cooling system would I need to keep replacing it as time go by, in other words upgrading my CPU?

  • i almost cried when he applied the paste...

  • WAY too much TIM, but dead sexy quad SLI with the GTX 295s =D

  • cable management...

  • @andr9557 This is not a video about cable management. The video is abouts how to install a liquid cooling system; then after you verify there aren’t any leaks you run tests and verify that your components are cooled, then overclock and make any and all the modifications needed, and then make it pretty with cable management. It makes no sense to run cable management at the beginning of the process only to have to remove it as you make changes.

  • my dream rig

  • song?

  • I see air bubles in the termal paste.

  • i love this song

  • is this another kind of shit youtube music ?

who produces al this lame shit ?

  • Wow! Thanks for the video. Now I have an idea how to LiquidCool. I just need to save $.

  • that was such a beautiful 295! ide frame it :)

  • Great work! This is one of my favorite videos in YouTube.

Can you tell me what is the cooling solution for the AMD rig and the termal conpaund are you using?

  • Nice work :D Although would suggest putting a small blob a little bigger than a grain of rice in the centre of the cpu/gpu. The pressure will spread it out evenly and force out any air. Apparently putting a layer of it on and slapping a cooler on top is liable to trap lots of little air bubbles and can effect temps.

  • @addz17 Thanks for your comment. The video is not about how to apply thermal paste nor that the way I did it is the only neither the best way to do it. The only point I was trying to make with that regard was that you should put TP. As you can imagine, I’m holding the camera between my chin and my shoulder trying to keep it steady while with one hand I held the mobo and with the other I applied TP. Later I used a credit card as a squeegee to spread evenly and remove the excess thermal paste.

  • beautiful work man

  • omg.. QQ its gorgeous

  • too much tp

  • whats the name of the song?

  • Just Beautiful ;)

  • @SpacePandaHDDepends what you are trying to accomplish. I like them both; performance is almost equal, the stock i7 extreme is slightly faster than AMDs, but really only detectable in benchmarks. If you're OCing then is a crapshoot. If you want excellent performance and a good price choose AMD. Sorta more bang for your buck. If you got a have the fastest, Intel will be my choice (usually). If you wanna know the difference, then get both. I did.

  • how do you get the bench marker in flight sim???

  • @shawnygz I use fraps. Go to FRAPS(dot)com where you can download the free version, or purchase it if you like.

  • how much you payed finally?

  • wow amazing video, and i agree with above, you made it look so easy

  • no pudiste probarlo en un game mejor call 5 wtf

  • Wow good video, this gives me a good idea and reference for when I start using water cooling :P very informative. atm I'm using a Zalaman CNPS10X Performa with 2 120mm blue led fans, which is still an awesome cooler xD 21c lowest I have seen an 44c being the highest I have seen so far lol, rendering in handbreak. again good video xD

  • don't understand why this video only has 61 likes and 4 dislike and it was view 16,204 times. come on people start voting on videos, are you that lazy...

  • GEEKS FTW ! ! !

  • your not meant to COVER THE CPU IN thermal compound, just the center where the die is 'a pea sized blob'

  • @gerardbiteme i think that guy know more than your trying to tell him, watch and learn not watch and teach

  • how much was the entire operation ?

  • very risky and a complete waste of energy, money, and my time

  • What a wiring MESS

  • Cable, manaaagemeeeeeent!!! *cringes at the sight*

  • Flyin' high with my stable overclock.

You don't know what my clocks are!

  • oh nice video dude i try to buy a new graphic card but it crashed becouse my dog have piss at graphic piece of shit i hate this :( but nice video ;)

  • wait what that 295 has 2 pcb's? what about my 460gtx?

  • dam, that is really good getting 70 fps on FSX! in the near future i am planning on bullding my own computer only for FSX with the 980X extreme over clock it to 4.2 -4.5

  • @fs2004josh Do you know that our eyes can only see a refrsh rate of up to 60fps so 60fps is enough.

  • your computer = no lag haha

  • 4:50 FSX <3

  • Just so you know the Cooler master radiator you used is aluminum so it can cause corrosion with your water blocks.

  • great song

  • this song is pretty damn good lol. btw, that cooling system looks expensive lol. very nice. i love water cooling, but i can't trust it. for now, air all the way :p.

  • so the 295 co-op is only 295gtx in sli?

  • You are a water cooling god you made it look so simple I am trying it now wow lol!!!

  • @supermidwestG Thanks and good luck with your project.

  • wow ! very nice! :D

  • MSI????? wtf???

  • @gabmezza msi pwns

  • fap fap fap fap

  • there a back plate behind the cpu on my asrock 890gx extreme 3 motherboard and i hav know idea how 2 remove it so i can setup cpu water cooling

  • very very very nice video, put together quite well. These kind of videos are rare on YouTube, great job and thank you.

  • whats the name of the song

  • @suerandy112 Groove Cutter - "My Shooter"

  • Yea that's a lot of thermal paste you're applying :P I bet if you added half of that and spread it nicely around you'd get an extra 4-5 degrees less idle.

  • @eclipse245 I was holding the camera with one hand as I tried to apply the paste. That was quite awkward to do. The point was to apply thermal paste not how. Once I put the camera down, I could use both hands and used a plastic card to spread the paste and half of what I initially put on came off as the paste got evenly spread.

  • @PUA687 rgr. Just saying.

  • @PUA687 that's not the issue. even if you had even'd it out, with the amount of thermal paste you had applied in the beginning, the layer of thermal paste bewteen the cooling system and the cpu is still far to think and reduces the heat transmitted bewteen the two systems.

  • @lifprasir I understand. The only point I was trying to make was to not forget and that it was important to apply thermal paste, not how. When I put the camera down I was able to use both hands and I squeezed that paste with the card and 70% to 80% came off.

  • very cool... how much money you have invested??

  • how many copies of flight simulator x gold do you have????

  • @Thunderclap23 I'm not sure how many copies I have, but I would estimate I probably have at least around a half a dozen copies.

  • @PUA687 and what for? lol

  • Nice setup

  • Wow, that's a lot of thermal paste! I'm assuming you've done this before, but wow.

  • Hi,you have to have 2 Power Supply, 1 for the motherboard and one for the cooler?

Tanks. That's what I saw on the video between 4:20 to 4:36.

  • @slaving300 Each of The PCs in the video has only 1 power supply.

  • @PUA687 Oh ok, but how you can connect the ATX conector of the Power Supply in the motherboard with the conector of the cooler conected in the ATX conector?

    thanks

  • @slaving300 I disconnected the ATX plug from the mother board so that I could jump start the system without turning the PC on that way I can run the pump and purge the air bubbles whithout having the PC on . The cooler draws its power from the mboard when the PC is on, or the electrical system can be ‘jumped started’ without turning on the PC like I showed in the video.

  • @PUA687 Thaks man tha was very informative! But, in what area of the motherboard you conect the Water Pump.

    thaks a lot men!

  • @slaving300 The water pump draws power from a regular PSU 12V molex plug. Typically electricity flows when you turn the PC on. However, jumping the ATX plug with a paper clip effectively switches 12V power on without having to turn the PC on.

  • uhm for your opinion, what processor is good for gaming,, the phenom 2 x6 or the i7? thanks

  • @eppiegood They are both excellent. In general you'll find that AMD will cost you less and give you as much computer power as its Intel counterpart. I find the Intel cpu better for video processing and some apps, but they are pretty close when it comes to gaming. They are so close that in most cases is not noticeable unless you put them up against each other in bench mark tests to see which outperforms the other.

  • @eppiegood definitely the i7 if youre not worried about budget, but theres i7's that are priced at the same range as the phenom ii x6 black edition. the i7 860, 930 , 870 and the 950

  • you have to much money :D one day i wont be a poor student and i can have toys like that

  • Buenísimo Juan!!!

Le falta ponerle ruedas y sale andando esa máquina!!!

  • Mind-blowing frame-rates! Awesome build! Perfect for MSFS!

Now, where can a man find a napkin around here... I'm drooling!

  • @skyyguyy Thanks!

  • Great video!

  • @ComputerTechTV Thank you
