What makes you think that people in the US can't drive it? Note that even though a very small fraction of the cars sold here are manual (< 7%), given the huge auto market here, there are still a number of BMW lovers and good drivers. Speed limits are not bad as well, people have money, and the car is very welcome! Do not generalize!

I generalized because TV, radio and all that comercials generalize things too and that is why i had to point out that such commercial is funny, when most people in US would buy bmw 320 with automatic/or they would even go for M3 but only few would really "drive it"

limosine, coupe and cabrio

probably u guys call it coupe, convertable and sedan; so what's the big deal...

But the one shown in video is offcourse NOT convertable...

the e46 had a naturally aspirated inline-6 which produced 333 hp but weighed 32 pounds more than the e92's 414 hp 4.0 liter v8. i do agree that the e46 looked better, especially since i own one, put who doesnt want that roaring v8?

It's all true, but.. there was a V8 version of E46 M3 and it was called the M3 GTR and it had 380HP 4000ccm V8 engine (440HP in racing version) -> Wikipedia :]

I don't see the big deal about this new M3?.....My friend just bought one in grey(nice color tho), and I feel like I'm driving his old 2001 TransAm WS6 (with a cam). Yes he had the suspension done up on the TA as well, but I don't see the point in blowing 70 G's on this car. I'd take the WS6 for half the price any day..this is my opinion after driving this new M3.

I've driven every M except the 46, I drive a 328, and even that feels significantly different, not sure which year the TA I drove was though, I can't comment on the modded suspension, but the TA felt a lot diff to me (it was stock) I missed the part about modded suspension.

but you have to drive it meticulously with the intention of comparison to pick up on points .. that or drive it daily for a week or 2, otherwise most cars that are "close" feel the same.
