@Linkachu710X I didn't see the whole "whining" thing. It seemed like the reviewer really liked Sonic Generations. And if IGN hated the Sonic franchise, then why would they give recent games like All-Stars Racing, Rush, Rush Adventure, Sonic 4, and Generations good scores?

@CrazyCheeseMagee Sorry, whining is probably the wrong word. To me, it just feels like they talk about how much the series sucks, but then give it a score that doesn't reflect their review at all. And I think that sucks! But that's just my oppinion.

Anyway, I clearly wasn't thinking when I posted that comment. I was just frustrated with their review and stupidly used it as a way to vent my frustration. But it's behind me now and I'll just continue to play this awesome game.

@PaperDragon3OO Even back a few years ago, when I could legitimately be considered a Sonic fanboy, I probably wouldn't have done this stuff. Though back when I was a Sonic fanboy, Sonic was in a slump. (It was a couple years before Sonic 4 and Colors came out.)

I find it hilarious that even though IGN gave the game an 8.5 (and editor's choice!), sonicfags everywhere still whine and cry that IGN are "biased COD fanboys!" even though IGN gave Black Ops an 8.5 and Modern Warfare 3 a 9.0, while giving games like SMG2, Uncharted 3, and Skyward Sword a 10. Yeah sure, and IGN are the ones who are "biased". Seriously, IGN haters, STFU.

@SmugleafCarriesOn Since when was 10/10 considered average and not absolutely perfect and totally flawless? IGN stated in their GTA IV review that the ONLY other game they gave a 10/10 at the time of reviewing GTA IV (aside from GTA IV) was Soul Calibur.

Hell, one professional site gave Batman Arkham City a 6 out of 5 (HOW THE HELL DOES THAT WORK!?!) presumably to make the fanboys STFU.

It's mostly just because they get mad when someone disagrees with them.

Also, why are they watching a game review meant to be almost entirely informative (not like AVGN for example) when they already have a predetermined and unchanging opinion of the game? Oh yeah, they just want the reviewer to stroke their ego!

@CrazyCheeseMagee Sorry, got confused for a second. IGN DID like Sonic Generations, but they also seem to like CoD. But some people who believe that IGN DIDN'T like Sonic Generations believe that they didn't like it because they're CoD fanboys. Apparently, it's impossible to like both CoD and Sonic.

@Narateful2 I still like the games, and I like Sonic Generations a good bit, at least from a first impression. But the fans. Oh, the fans. The fans are such idiots. They either bawww about the new games not being absolutely 100% like the original Genesis games or they bawww about reviewers saying anything negative whatsoever about the new games.

Sonic Generations must have a perfect 10? How communistic are these fanboys? I've had a crapload of non-responsive controls and glitches while boosting.

And as for the City Escape music, it's decent, but I changed it to Right There, Right On from Sonic Rush because me and my sisters got annoyed by it.

@Naganerd1 Two things: 1. Yes, from my experiences, I've found that the control can be quite loose at times and the 2.5D "classic" Sonic stages can be disorienting sometimes. 2. Funny you say "communistic" when I'm an anarcho-socialist myself. (But I don't think about "teh revulooshun" all the time like ADF does. I like some bourgeoise stuff as well, like video games.)
