Because there weren't many who participated. Only two African countries (Egypt and South Africa) sent athletes to the 1936 games.

Stunning film and one of the very best ever made. I like this German version but wish it was possible to see the english version - with a classic 1930s BBC accent - Channel 4 (UK) screened it some years ago.
