  • This video is really good for my mum! Her dining table is all bare!!!

  • i have that brown and white square thing ohh and does it have a texture to it

  • So cool, Meg. Brooklyn looks so rad and your place mat color choices are PERFECT!

  • Awesome! I LOVE the mixed match colors and set of these place mats. Cool episode.

  • Great colors.

  • Don't you clip the fabric almost to the sewn seams before turning the placemat? It makes the seams lie flatter when you turn the placemat.

  • Meg, are you part of the team now??

  • I was wondering if you could do a show on how to make your own little black dress or reuse an old one and touch it up. I've been trying to find the perfect little black dress, but I got nothing. Maybe making one would be a better idea.

  • yay I know Caty blue!!

  • YAY!! I'm on the show!!!! (catyblue)

Thank's a lot Meg!! Great episode

  • I think you should make some note that saying "vintage" when showing feistaware is a bad thing. Some of the vintage circa 1980 feistaware contained lead.

  • Nice! I fell like sewing some placemates right now!

  • I love the places you film yourself at! It's different everytime! *gasp*

  • Thanks so much for noticing and appreciating that, mutantpotatoe. That was on the roof of our building, you can see the Williamsburg Bridge from there.

    xox, Meg

  • wow..the mats look a little wavy.

    what happened?

  • i think that fabric is knit? if u iron it itll get flat

  • If its a knit fabric it will get a little wavy when you add top stitches.

  • I ironed them after, and they flattened right out. Sorry I didn't grab a shot of that in time for the episode.

    xo, Meg

  • hey you sould make a video on how to make pot holders!

  • My friend makes her own potholders just with towels and fabric, its pretty easy to just figure out yourself.

  • i diddnt think of that thanks!

  • theyre pretty cute :)

  • Those mats are very ripply. You should probably press them before the top stitching.

  • I'm more of a table cloth girl but those were super cute place mats. I like the quick tip too, I recently started collecting pitchers.

  • o noes! Where's the chihuahua? I MISS THE CHIHUAHUA bwallll sniff sniff sob sob
