Oh sorry should have noticed Media Matters their god is George Soreass we should have ran this scumbag off a long time ago the UK did .He likes to cripple economy's and cash in .Some god you chose he is a bigger scumbag millionaire than any we have including those Enron thieves
If this is the kind of fraudulent propaganda George Soros is spending his money on, he's dumber than even I originally thought. If our President hadn't approached the Olympic committee as if he were coming down off the mountain to grace them all with his presence (while apologizing for America, by the way), perhaps they wouldn't have rejected his proposal of Chicago first thing out of the box.
It's not "America's defeat", it was Obama's defeat. Nice try. Thank you for playing.
@LolliofTheArmy I guess one could say that I'm an idiot like you're substantive; particularly given your "intellectual" argument. Thank you, you just proved my point.
@terceldude Well we do, but you got to realize he took Bush's plan and used it as his own. Many liberals are not happy with him about that either. Yes it made his approval rating 6% according to Gallup. Was 46% now it's 52%, so since it was Bush's plan we give credit to Bush too. Yes Obama deserves more credit since he is President, but I think at least Bush deserves some credit, because it was his plan Obama used. I do give Obama credit, I just think Bush would deserve a tiny bit too.
@terceldude If Bush didn't do anything, then after the 2003 attack of Saddam, then why did his approval rating rise according to Gallup 56%-63%? To be honest with you, I think the economy was in good shape until the Democratic Congress took over. The Dow was about what it is now, just a few days after they took over. Unemployment was lower. Gas prices didn't start going up until they took over either. You can't blame all of this on the Republicans, the Democratic House is partly to blame too.
@terceldude Also if Bush didn't do anything, the execution of Saddam Hussein wouldn't have been on every news station that night when he was finally executed in late December 2006.
@terceldude So you do see where I'm coming from? I hope so, because I can see where you're coming about us needing to give Credit to Obama, but also you can agree to disagree, I think the Navy Seals deserve the most Credit then a small pinch to Obama for ok'ing it, and then a tiny pinch for former President Bush. Like I saw one person give an example. There example was 99.7% Navy Seals .2% President Obama .1% former President Bush.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@fuckFOXpropaganda Actually I'm going to heaven when I die because I believe in God, I know he is the father, the son and the holy spirit unlike you who is a god hating atheist with no life!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@fuckFOXpropaganda You are a joke! By the way, I have a GPA with honors in College and I got straight A's this semester...so the only retard here is you! By the way, God saves! Go to Church and learn!!!
2. I don't think he would, liberals like you hate him. He wouldn't be part of people who hate him and he has helped people going through crisis and illness and he has saved them from dying.
@puttputtking hey ive gone to catholic school since the 4th grade and i am a liberal because i believe there party believes in keeping the programs which help the poor unlike the GOP which wants to cut things like health care and welfare because we spend to much on it. Jesus once said "blessed are the poor woe to the rich" because he was all for the poor unlike the GOP.
@graydog3971 No, I belong to a party because I believe everyone has a right to live unlike the democrats who want to kill babies! You mean the liberals who don't believe iun him and call him a piece of shi*. Those people. Yeah right, people like you are a disgrace to America!
@puttputtking i am a liberal because i believe that a woman has a chose to an abortion i may not agree with her reason but she has the chose and the government should not restrict that, and the GOP claims its pro life with its anti abortion but they totally believe in the death penalty, a little ironic dont you think?
@graydog3971 Well they only support the death penalty if somebody deserves it. Like somebody like Saddam Hussein or Osama Bin Laden people like that. Somebody like Casey Anthony should deserve the death penalty, only on people who deserve it not the innocent people. Also, if anybody supports abortion, they just need to remember that if there parents aborted them, they would not be here today either. Everybody has a right to life, not ready for the baby, put it up for adoption then.
2. God does save, but apparently you're too dumb to see the truth, I can't wait for you to die and you go to hell and see how wrong you were and how dumb you are.
3. You can learn in a church too, you idiot. But, oh wait you wouldn't know you're most likely retarded kid who dropped out of high school.
@fuckFOXpropaganda By the way, I know Atheists don't believe in God that was the point of me calling you a God hater. Not only are you a joke, but you're such a dumba** too!
@fuckFOXpropaganda Coming from the idiot who can't even spell piss right. It's piss, not pisst you idiot. Go back to school and learn how to spell.
People like you are a disgrace to humanity and a joke and when you die, we'll all be rejoicing. By the way, yeah the atheists show hate, the atheists show hate to retards like you.
I am a retard? Let's see I have a GPA with honors in college, made straight A's last semester, offered three different scholarships and you dropped out of school.
@graydog3971 Well come on, he deserves a little bit, because Obama used his plan. You may not realize this, but he did use it and I'm sure that's why 1% of Americans gave him credit, along with the 2% who gave Obama credit and 97% to the people who killed him the Navy Seals.
@graydog3971 But think if he didn't then why did 1% of americans give him support, because they can see Obama used his plan and that's probably only why he got 2% and the rest of the 97% went to the navy seals.
@puttputtking actually a lot of people credited obama for taking the chance because there was a very real possibility that he wasnt there but thankfully he was and we dont have to worry about him any more and the 1% who give credit to bush i think there just upset obama was president when the got him
@graydog3971 He was there? What do you talking about? That's the thing, people are giving Obama the credit, when he doesn't deserve the credit, the navy seals do.
@graydog3971 I mean a lot of people seem to forget that he didn't use Bush's plan but he did, he really did and I think that's probably a possibility to why he got 1%.
@graydog3971 We're not talking about that, what we're talking about is he used Bush's plan. He continues a lot of Bush's policies, a lot of people, not just the networks, but a lot of people are calling him a George Bush 3rd term.
@puttputtking i will agree with you in the sense that he did continue a lot of bush policys but i disagree with you in the sense that bush didnt contribute to the killing of bin laden
@graydog3971 Well I'm only saying the only part he did contribute was his planned, but that was only because Obama used it, but yeah nothing else was contributed by them, I'm only saying the plan was contributed by him thanks to the help from Obama, but nothing else was contributed by him.
@graydog3971 Well that's what I was saying, the plan of his was used, nothing else. By the way, I don't think Bush was trying to make himself look good, I heard from I think it was NBC or CBS or one of those that Obama invited Bush to the White House, but he didn't want take the spotlight away from Obama or something like that.
Anyway no one takes this guy seriously. I saw his thing about how gay marriage isn't that big of a deal, and thought he had some common sense, but now I'm not sure if he thinks the president is food or what.
Presidential soup? The Elected Official Quizno's sandwich, I mean, what?
We're forgetting about the symbolism and irony when they failed to lock Chicago. Too many thought it was a "given." Too many thought it was "in the bag." Why? Because we elected a black President? Did you see the faces of those in Chicago when the decision was read aloud? It was priceless! It reinforces that nothing is a lock, not even for a corrupt Chicago politician. You are not handed anything in life because YOU think that you're entitled. He didn't earn his nobel either.
This is hate according to the Liberal Media???? Ok, lets forget about anarchy, ignoring federal law..........we're continuing to fill in the blanks. Screw Chicago! Why would we want one of our most corrupt U.S. cities representing the whole nation during the olympics? Sorry Media Matters but.........I don't think reasonable minds are that into you anymore.
Hate speech!!! Come on!! Beck and Rush are speaking truth, something that the liberals can't stand!!! everytime someone disagrees with the liberal point of view, it's labeled hate speech. Hypocrites!!! And who was it that called fellow Americans enemies???Oh yes that was our "president". Imagine George Bush calling Americans "enemies?" He would have been tarred and feathered. But Obama,....wow, so that what he really feels about the majority of Americans. But it shouldn't come as a suprise.
@akropiss Hey, minimum IQ is only -80 in the tea party because hey, we gotta have a couple of libs right? We don't want to set the bar to high for you or otherwise you might say we're being elitists. ;)
"Hey, minimum IQ is only -80 in the tea party because hey, we gotta have a couple of libs right? We don't want to set the bar to high for you or otherwise you might say we're being elitists. ;)" Conservative hate elitist, aren't tea party the one who said get government of my medicare
@istraight1 Well, I charge you to get the details straight. Rather it was an individual, an OLD lady, who was a member of the T.E.A. party, or at least a SUPPORTER of the T.E.A. party. I realize that often the words of one are used to make a point regarding the intelligence of a whole group. This is a very dangerous strategy for you guys. But I digress. MOST old folks, the pre-baby boomers, do not come from highly educated backgrounds. Many do not understand what programs
@istraight1 are gov't. They simply grew up being told that "Medicare is going to be there for you when you get old." And they made plans accordingly. And they depend on it. There is a disconnect in some recipients minds as to the workings of the system. It's sad. But TRULY, the Medicare system is a communist/socialist hybrid. Because it is a service that you pay for for all your working adult life, so there is an expectancy for a benefit. Though it is taken at the end of a barrel.
@singingcowboy674 medicare is no were from being communist. the usa was doning find until that moron george w bush took ofiice on 1/20/2001. beside george w bush expanded medicare part d irresponsibly without something to pay for it.
@istraight1 Uh, really? Have you ever READ the Communist Manifesto? It's part of the 45 goals of the Communist Party. It reads as adopted into Congressional Record.....
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
@istraight1 Can you draw a comparison for me regarding how they do things in a communist country that they do differently here in America? I mean, I can respect you saying we are not a communist nation; but you've got to be blind to not recognize the fact that we are hurtling down a dead end street with communism at the end and we have no breaks. In fact we are trying to hit the gas. The actions of our gov't over the last 10 years have moved us more toward it than away from it.
@singingcowboy674 - I disagree that the last ten years have led us down the path to being a communist nation. I know I voted both in 2008 and 2010. Communists do not elect their leaders. Communism is defined in Merriam-Webster as a "1. a theory advocating elimination of private property b : a system in which goods are owned in common and are available to all as needed." This country and the current government is not advocating the elimination of private property nor having common owned goods
@clawcat I'd like to focus on the "a" rather than the "b". The "b" definition is linked to the Utopian idealism of communism. It can only be implemented as Utopian in it's purest form, which, would be nobody in leadership whatsoever. People will always demand a king. It's ingrained in the human psyche. Private property rights HAVE been dwindling away. Look at the death tax. They know the rich will hold the most assets. Make inheritance costs so high it's not reasonable to pay. Gov't seizes inlu
@singingcowboy674 - whether you would like to focus on "a" or "b"- both are necessary to make the charge that the US is marching down the path to Communism. You mention the "death" tax which used to be known as the "ESTATE TAX" (language, powerful stuff!) - did you know that this estate tax effects less than 1% of the population? Regarding the push towards imminent domain that you believe is also a sign of Communism, the push was to allow PRIVATE BUSINESS to take these homes under that guise.
@clawcat There is also a push whenever possible towards imminent domain. The gov't reach regarding it is expanding. Local gov'ts have attempted to seize property in order to sell it to a developer who will build on it and make it more profitable when it's taxed. Zoning laws restrict the free usage of your land. The rights of myself to do with my land what I see fit, is squelched for the "good of the many" if my neighbors don't like what I do with it. So it's only private so long as I comply.
@singingcowboy674 - again, this is not an example of Communism. Perhaps it can be construed as Socialism, but the definitions of the political systems should not be confused. These laws do not in any way change your ability to own property. That's like saying one cannot have a private gun if one intends to go around shooting people. Yes, compliance with the law is one of many things that make us civilized. To argue that because we have laws in regards to ownership is Communism is misleading
@clawcat You're drawing an example from the opposite end of the spectrum. Doing what I want to with my property, so long as it does not endanger the lives of those around me, should NOT be restricted in any manner at the compelling of the force of law. And to answer your previous response, though the seizure of land was pushed for private business development, it was taken at the end of a barrel held by the sheriff.
@singingcowboy674 - you cannot do whatever you want on your property because it DOES affect those around you. It may not be as dramatic as shooting someone with a gun. Let us say you decide to open a business on your land next to my home. The chemicals you use seep into the ground, destroy parts of my property (like my garden!), the heavy trucks coming to your business destroy the road, the air is filled with chemicals, affecting by ability to breathe..get it? This is why we have legislation
@clawcat You won't catch me arguing those kinds of things. Reasonable limits I understand. At the same time, most people who would build a business of that caliber that would affect your property, they would PROBABLY not put their industrial business next to your residential property out of basic civility. Not so much the law. I'm talking about the "busy body" regulations that are imposed. Little things that do not affect anyone except the gov'ts ego. These are the ones I protest.
@clawcat A garden grown for private consumption of the food grown. It's private property. I grew it, I should have the right to eat it. But the F.D.A. is trying to bar people from growing their own gardens under the guise of "safety". Now, if I wanted to SELL my crop, I can completely understand government oversight. But to say I can't GROW IT unless it's approved by the gov't and it's got to be tested before I put it in my body? That goes to dwindling of private property rights in my book.
@singingcowboy674 - I guess you are talking about Senate Bill 510, which never became law. This is why we have three branches of government. We have a great deal of legislation introduced which does not become law; this doesn't mean the gov't has changed from a democracy into something else; in fact, it is an example of democratic law making. Do you have a problem with it being illegal to grown opium and marijuana? An individual cannot grow these crops for personal use - is this Communism??
@clawcat Not sure. But I never said we WERE a communist gov't, I believe I just suggested we were hurdling toward it. lol We are close if not fascist already moving towards socialism. The next step is communism. Now, I have to give you props on your debate skill. Good point regarding opium and marijuana crops. The only rebut I'd have to that is, generally one grows those crops to distribute, which damages society as a whole when turned into cocaine. Mary, undecided on.
@singingcowboy674 - you are a good debater as well. You are correct in that you didn't state we were Communist, but did suggest we were charging down the road that leads to that state. I don't agree with you. Growing pot can get you 25 years in jail in Florida and I'm not talking for commercial distribution; also just having the plant (more than 25 GRAMS - less than 1 ounce) can get you 25 YEARS. No one EVER claims these are socialistic or communistic. Btw, opium gets turned into heroin.
@clawcat I appreciate the compliment. Honestly it's rare to get that concession from someone who is more liberally leaning. Usually they just compliment me by insulting my intelligence. lol Far as those laws go regarding the growth of Mary and Opi, I contend that that is cruel and unusual punishment. I don't condone the growth of that stuff, but I would much rather use our jails for violent offenders. Those that would be an immediate threat to my family/property. On direction of gov't, we might
@clawcat just be forced to agree to disagree. :) I'm a big enough man to accept that everybody is not going to have the same point of view. And yours is no less valid. We look at the color purple and I think more red, you see more blue. I think the ability to communicate by point/counterpoint is what makes a great statesman. Not patting my own back by no means. Just giving you another compliment. It's the way ideas are exchanged which seems to fail between conservatives and liberals all 2 often
@singingcowboy674 - how about agree to disagree =) I also agree that debate is not black and white, but rather nuanced shades of gray. It would be very good for all of us if the type of dialogue you and I engaged in (the exchange of ideas and examples in a rational manner) was the norm in this country. We would be far better off if we could talk to each other, realize our difference and find our common ground. Perhaps you and I need to be running political parties? LOL
@clawcat I would love to run, problem is I'm afraid I'd win. That would be bad cause I'd get dead quicker than Kennedy. lol I don't conform to either party nor do I hold political loyalties. I'm a conservative and lean toward Republican/Libertarian, however I'm a completely free thinker. That's dangerous in our established government. lol And I have to say, at the beginning I didn't expect to wind up in this dialog. I thought I noticed a tinge of hostility, but.......
@clawcat I believe the mutual recognition of each other's debating skills softened any rigidity we held toward each other's commentary. :) I tip my hat to you sir! (If I was wearing one. lol) I think the biggest problem our parties have is the lack of respect for the other's opinion. It's like the Atheist/Christian debate. It's hard to find an atheist that respects, though he disagrees with the other's belief in Christ. Seems to be they fancy themselves mental elitists. Can't debate most ofem.
@clawcat I am horrifically mortified! I just said "I tip my hat to you "sir" and then I found out you were a lovely lady! As a gentleman I do hope you will forgive my ass-umption. You are no where CLOSE to a sir. lol Again, my sincerest apologies! =+D
@istraight1 Yeah, the ruling party and the peasants. But if you look really closely, and you may disagree with this point, but all the presidents, I'd even venture to say since daddy Bush, in some shape form or fashion either the legislative, judiciary or the executive office one, sometimes even working in tandem have implemented laws, orders or rulings; or even propaganda at the very least, trying to smear the lines between classes. The middle class is disintegrating.....
@istraight1 A evidence of tampering with the class structure is if you'll look, just don't know where to tell you to go see it, the gov't, no matter the president has continually risen the poverty line. If you can get people under the poverty line, and get them gov't benefits, psychologically it get's you used to the gov't providing a "boost" and eventually they create more and more programs, people get more and more accustomed to them, start to expect handouts by gov't. Do you see the progress?
@istraight1 It's a grooming if you would. The mental slope is a slippery one regarding what "necessities" of life a person is "entitled" to. It doesn't start out as obvious, but as the generations progress and are raised up in that climate, they start demanding greater, costlier things. Take healthcare for instance. It's not completely unreasonable to desire that everyone have access to healthcare. By no means. But then, do all people have a right to a home? There's more, but no room. lol
@istraight1 As for fascism, the two are pretty close. Here are the 10 steps to fascism... Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy-Terrorism Create a gulag- Bush started, Obama continues Develop a thug caste- Union leadership Set up an internal surveillance system- DOT cams Harass citizens' groups- The T.E.A. party Engage in arbitrary detention and release- Illegal Immigration Target key individuals-Glenn Beck Control the press- Murdock Equate dissent with treason Suspend the rule of law
@istraight1 - rhe definition of fascism from Merriam-Webster - "a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascist) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition." No dictator, no exaltation of state over individuals & since we just had elections in 2010 w/the opposition party winning, no suppression.
@singingcowboy674 - you mention the 45 goals of the communist party - #32, while part of the Manifesto, cannot by itself, be construed as Communism. This can easily be defined as Socialism, however. Communism, Socialism, Fascism, Democracy, Theocracy, Autocracy - these are all means of government. Just calling something "Democratic" doesn't make it so, just as calling something "Communist" does not make it so. Also, having something read into the Congressional Record doesn't MEAN anything.
@clawcat I'll not defend on that point at all. I agree in fact. However when you look at the other steps that HAVE to be in place to prepare a nation to BECOME communist, most if not all of the list has been fulfilled over the years. It's worth taking a second look at really. Communism isn't attainable from a Democracy directly. Not lest the people revolt. Socialism is a step down from communism that has to be implemented to get people warm to the idea of it. It's a slow process til now.
@istraight1 Are you kidding, Bush was no moron. On the other hand I'm not saying he was good for America. But to say "America was doing fine" until he took over is just "head in the sand". Must I remind you that during his presidency the nation witnessed it's first attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor? But you think THAT had nothing to do with damaging the economy? And yes, George Bush fucked up with the Medicare Part D. No question. But at least I maintain my consistency. It's socialist.
@istraight1 Just to continue in the spirit of debate, lol, the ACTUAL number attached to Bush's IQ is 129. I'm just slightly smarter. lol His SAT score was a 1209 which isn't to shabby. And he DID attend Yale, which you can't be a moron and get in there. lol His scores wasn't high though. He was a C-B student. But even the movie touted him to be an under achiever in college. He only went cause daddy made him. He PROB coulda done better had he wanted to apply himself. Half assed try.
@singingcowboy674 - thanks for the info on Bush's IQ and SAT scores. I agree he could have done been had he tried. I find it fascinating that with my 139 IQ and 1250 SAT, I didn't make it into any of the Ivy League Schools, even being in the top of my class. BUT, then again, MY father didn't go to college. He went into the Air Force to serve his country instead. And of course, I graduated from college with honors - no Bs or Cs! Interesting. Thanks again!
@clawcat We may disagree on most things but to this I can only say "touche!". lol Now you are going to think that I'm off my deep end when I say this, but, hey, who am I to you in the first place, right? lol I subscribe that our presidents are groomed in advance. Pre-selected if you will. Our elections are merely an appeasement to the people of our great nation. So, it adds validity to your statement in that, people obviously lacking in qualifications can be scuttled up the ladder by money.
"Republicans originally thought that Fox worked for us, and now we are discovering we work for Fox." -- David Frum, former Bush speechwriter & American Enterprise Institute Fellow
I just love how guys like Rush and Beck were so quick to dismiss world opinion during the run up to the war, yet they embrace it when it suits their needs, as in the failure to get the Olympics in Chicago. Hypocrisy destroys all credibility.
@AtrophyChannel Actually, via the UN resolution, we had the "world"'s full blessing to go into Iraq. And you know the left use a lot harsher tactics than the right when poking a little fun if you would be intellectually honest.
"UN resolution, we had the "world"'s full blessing to go into Iraq." no it did not and if your talking about UN Resolution 1441 did not authorise the use of force.
"left use a lot harsher tactics than the right when poking a little fun if you would be intellectually honest." what you mean is that right harsher tactics then left like fox news
@istraight1 I stand corrected on the comment "having the world's full blessing" regarding the war. You ARE correct that a violation of 1441 did not authorize force, but neither did it constrain a unilateral show of force. And House Joint Resolution 114, in compliance with US law, gave it's bilateral support of the President in declaring war against Iraq. I'll post the citing of the UN resolutions enforcements from the HJR 114 in a following comment due to character constraints.
@istraight1 HJ Res 114 states "Whereas in the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution (Public Law 102-1), Congress has authorized the President `to use United States Armed Forces pursuant to United Nations Security Council Resolution 678 (1990) in order to achieve implementation of Security Council Resolution 660, 661, 662, 664, 665, 666, 667, 669, 670, 674, and 677';
Also the same authority was used to authorize Clinton's Desert Fox engagement.
@ajnatheiconoclast These conservative shockjocks are so angry Barack Obama is President they will attack especally on a bad day. I agree with you though they are bigger issues in the world.
good God Mr Gravestone I allowed my mother to view your comment to me and Great Britain-she advises that you will be horse whipped on the Church steps,in front of your villiage,at 15.00 hrs on Good Friday.
You show your ignorance in your attempt to to insult. You don't even know how to use the English language. Perhaps you have identified the retard in question as yourself. Try graduating from 7th grade before you post.
OK, I can understand Rush and Beck, these guys are making millions spewing out this shit.... Beck made 24 million last year. What I can't understand are the sheep that follow these guys...... are they racist? I'm not sure because they never make a point on any issues. They just spew 'I hate the left' or some vague comment on socialism. But when you see them at a rally they have signs saying leave my VA, Medicare, or Social Security alone; programs put in by dems with little or no help from GOP.
Most people would agree that the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics had a profoundly positive long term impact on the city. Also, remember the bombing? White, right-wing, conservative DOMESTIC TERRORISTS. He loved America so much, he bombed his own country and people. Conservatives applauding the defeat of Chicago are the same, domestic terrorists in spirit, praying for the failure of America.
why do you want the Olympics? London 2012 jumping for joy with a THREE BILLION POUND investment, now is facing a TWELVE BILLION POUND bill and counting. For what? watching a load of minority sports ending with seven foot streaks of piss jumping into buckets of sand.
Hey, I just call em' as I see em'. Your direct quote, verbatim , " the typical liberal mindset" shows everyone, that, for hardline conservitves it still is a "us against them" arguement. Sadly, it shouldn't be
To all the so called conservatives, just a thought to ponder about Rush, Hannity, or Beck. These individuals that you admire so much what have they done to help our country out. They have done nothing except bitch and complain about what the liberals are doing and what they are not doing and made a career out of it. If our country fails its because we let jerks like this manipulate us all into hating each other. Finacially they are doing fine while the rest of us lose everything.
The facts are that the Olympic host cities have rarely ever made a profit. In fact most had to be bailed out with millions and sometimes billions of dollars. This push was by Valarie Jared, obamas senior advisor since she and her family owns the largest section of land in Chicago (now slums) to build the Olympic Village and would make hundreds of millions in the process, it's all about corruption! This was not a loss for the US, it was a loss for obama!
Can any conservative on here actually post something with out stealing from rush, beck, or hannity. Come guys at least be smart enough to make your OWN arguement
I always notice the libs accusing conservatives of quoting rush, hannity, or glenn. How is it any different than you libs mindlessly repeating everything that Obama says? How is it any different than libs never questioning a single thing that our amateur current administration says? I'm not even a big listener of any of those pundits, but let's be fair here.
Not all Liberals quote Obama, just like not all Conservatives quote Hannity, Beck, or Rush. Quite a few Liberals, like myself, have found issue with some of with some of the stuff Obama's doing, but we, unlike a lot of our Conservative counterparts, don't try to oppose the President every step of the way, right, or wrong. To say that we parrot our, er, how to say, view-point leader, is vague, and vice versa. Conservs. have to understand that a lot of their views seem outrageous/crazy to us.
@Spifficus If you trully believe that you do not have the first clue what the Nazi's were about. There is a huge difference between mocking Obama and Chicago's failure and carrying out the deaths of 11 million Jews,Gypsies, gays, communists, handicapped folks and anyone else deemed undesirable. If you cannot see that you are blinded by your own hate.
dicker817..typical liberal mindset, the left is so used to puking up olberman sound bites that when you are exposed to fact you think a conservative stole it.Afact is a fact and does not require intellectual theft but stands on it's own merit. That is why facts are so inconvenient for the left, you can't find them anywhere tobase your debate on and therefore facts are such a unique and rare item to you that you think they must be stolen from someone else.LIBERALISM IS A FAILED IDEOLOGY AND DISEASE
@monilara123 Hey, he was the first black president of these United States. That's a feat if nobody was pulling the strings! That had to be the reason because I've seen nothing else "nobel peace prize-ish" that he's done. lol You guys are like the last 20% of the population that actually APPROVE of him. lol
Limp-wristed, half-wit lefties who wallow so deeply in their hypocritical blindness just can't understand that the great thinkers like Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly and Beck are just so RIGHT about their Savior. Sheesh, what a bunch of idiots are the liberals.
It's not hate and it's not celebrating the US's defeat (not hosting the Olympics is not a defeat--many people in Chicago did not want to host/pay for this event). It IS, the fact that Obama is not the divine intervention so many made him out to be. I hope he suceeds at what is truly important--foreign policy (Afghanistan, Iran, N. Korea). If he can't, God help us all.
Its nice to see NASA has $79 million dollars to crash a an unmanned spacecraft into the moon. And that the goverment wants to hand out healthcare. WHERE ARE THE JOBS????!!!???!!???

If this is the kind of fraudulent propaganda George Soros is spending his money on, he's dumber than even I originally thought. If our President hadn't approached the Olympic committee as if he were coming down off the mountain to grace them all with his presence (while apologizing for America, by the way), perhaps they wouldn't have rejected his proposal of Chicago first thing out of the box.
It's not "America's defeat", it was Obama's defeat. Nice try. Thank you for playing.

America wasn't defeated. Obama was defeated and the world was spared the horrors of an Olympiad in his city.

@terceldude You wouldn't give Bush credit for killing Saddam Hussein, so what's your point?
puttputtking 10 months ago
@puttputtking My point is that Obama had ordered and helped with the killing of Osama..So Republicans better give him credit...
terceldude 10 months ago
@terceldude Well we do, but you got to realize he took Bush's plan and used it as his own. Many liberals are not happy with him about that either. Yes it made his approval rating 6% according to Gallup. Was 46% now it's 52%, so since it was Bush's plan we give credit to Bush too. Yes Obama deserves more credit since he is President, but I think at least Bush deserves some credit, because it was his plan Obama used. I do give Obama credit, I just think Bush would deserve a tiny bit too.
puttputtking 10 months ago
@puttputtking Bush didn't do nothing...Plus he's the one that got us into the recession in the first place...
terceldude 10 months ago
@terceldude If Bush didn't do anything, then after the 2003 attack of Saddam, then why did his approval rating rise according to Gallup 56%-63%? To be honest with you, I think the economy was in good shape until the Democratic Congress took over. The Dow was about what it is now, just a few days after they took over. Unemployment was lower. Gas prices didn't start going up until they took over either. You can't blame all of this on the Republicans, the Democratic House is partly to blame too.
puttputtking 10 months ago
@terceldude Also if Bush didn't do anything, the execution of Saddam Hussein wouldn't have been on every news station that night when he was finally executed in late December 2006.

terceldude 10 months ago
@terceldude So you do see where I'm coming from? I hope so, because I can see where you're coming about us needing to give Credit to Obama, but also you can agree to disagree, I think the Navy Seals deserve the most Credit then a small pinch to Obama for ok'ing it, and then a tiny pinch for former President Bush. Like I saw one person give an example. There example was 99.7% Navy Seals .2% President Obama .1% former President Bush.

@graydog3971 Well they only support the death penalty if somebody deserves it. Like somebody like Saddam Hussein or Osama Bin Laden people like that. graydog3971 7 months ago
@graydog3971 Well come on, he deserves a little bit, because Obama used his plan. You may not realize this, but he did use it and I'm sure that's why 1% of Americans gave him credit, along with the 2% who gave Obama credit and 97% to the people who killed him the Navy Seals.
puttputtking 7 months ago
@puttputtking no bush really didnt contribute hes now just trying to make himself look good
graydog3971 7 months ago
@graydog3971 But think if he didn't then why did 1% of americans give him support, because they can see Obama used his plan and that's probably only why he got 2% and the rest of the 97% went to the navy seals.
puttputtking 7 months ago
@puttputtking actually a lot of people credited obama for taking the chance because there was a very real possibility that he wasnt there but thankfully he was and we dont have to worry about him any more and the 1% who give credit to bush i think there just upset obama was president when the got him
graydog3971 7 months ago
@graydog3971 He was there? What do you talking about? That's the thing, people are giving Obama the credit, when he doesn't deserve the credit, the navy seals do.
puttputtking 7 months ago

puttputtking 7 months ago
@puttputtking well i dont know about the plan itself so i might be abel to give you some credit there

singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@istraight1 are gov't. They simply grew up being told that "Medicare is going to be there for you when you get old." And they made plans accordingly. And they depend on it. There is a disconnect in some recipients minds as to the workings of the system. It's sad. But TRULY, the Medicare system is a communist/socialist hybrid. Because it is a service that you pay for for all your working adult life, so there is an expectancy for a benefit. Though it is taken at the end of a barrel.

@istraight1 Uh, really? Have you ever READ the Communist Manifesto? It's part of the 45 goals of the Communist Party. It reads as adopted into Congressional Record.....
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@singingcowboy674 yes i have but not everything government does would no be consider communist. The USA is no were near communism.
istraight1 1 year ago
@istraight1 Can you draw a comparison for me regarding how they do things in a communist country that they do differently here in America? I mean, I can respect you saying we are not a communist nation; but you've got to be blind to not recognize the fact that we are hurtling down a dead end street with communism at the end and we have no breaks. In fact we are trying to hit the gas. The actions of our gov't over the last 10 years have moved us more toward it than away from it.
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@singingcowboy674 - I disagree that the last ten years have led us down the path to being a communist nation. I know I voted both in 2008 and 2010. Communists do not elect their leaders. Communism is defined in Merriam-Webster as a "1. a theory advocating elimination of private property b : a system in which goods are owned in common and are available to all as needed." This country and the current government is not advocating the elimination of private property nor having common owned goods
clawcat 1 year ago
@clawcat I'd like to focus on the "a" rather than the "b". The "b" definition is linked to the Utopian idealism of communism. It can only be implemented as Utopian in it's purest form, which, would be nobody in leadership whatsoever. People will always demand a king. It's ingrained in the human psyche. Private property rights HAVE been dwindling away. Look at the death tax. They know the rich will hold the most assets. Make inheritance costs so high it's not reasonable to pay. Gov't seizes inlu
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@singingcowboy674 - whether you would like to focus on "a" or "b"- both are necessary to make the charge that the US is marching down the path to Communism. You mention the "death" tax which used to be known as the "ESTATE TAX" (language, powerful stuff!) - did you know that this estate tax effects less than 1% of the population? Regarding the push towards imminent domain that you believe is also a sign of Communism, the push was to allow PRIVATE BUSINESS to take these homes under that guise.
clawcat 1 year ago
@clawcat There is also a push whenever possible towards imminent domain. The gov't reach regarding it is expanding. Local gov'ts have attempted to seize property in order to sell it to a developer who will build on it and make it more profitable when it's taxed. Zoning laws restrict the free usage of your land. The rights of myself to do with my land what I see fit, is squelched for the "good of the many" if my neighbors don't like what I do with it. So it's only private so long as I comply.
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@singingcowboy674 - again, this is not an example of Communism. Perhaps it can be construed as Socialism, but the definitions of the political systems should not be confused. These laws do not in any way change your ability to own property. That's like saying one cannot have a private gun if one intends to go around shooting people. Yes, compliance with the law is one of many things that make us civilized. To argue that because we have laws in regards to ownership is Communism is misleading
clawcat 1 year ago
@clawcat You're drawing an example from the opposite end of the spectrum. Doing what I want to with my property, so long as it does not endanger the lives of those around me, should NOT be restricted in any manner at the compelling of the force of law. And to answer your previous response, though the seizure of land was pushed for private business development, it was taken at the end of a barrel held by the sheriff.
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@singingcowboy674 - you cannot do whatever you want on your property because it DOES affect those around you. It may not be as dramatic as shooting someone with a gun. Let us say you decide to open a business on your land next to my home. The chemicals you use seep into the ground, destroy parts of my property (like my garden!), the heavy trucks coming to your business destroy the road, the air is filled with chemicals, affecting by ability to breathe..get it? This is why we have legislation
clawcat 1 year ago
@clawcat You won't catch me arguing those kinds of things. Reasonable limits I understand. At the same time, most people who would build a business of that caliber that would affect your property, they would PROBABLY not put their industrial business next to your residential property out of basic civility. Not so much the law. I'm talking about the "busy body" regulations that are imposed. Little things that do not affect anyone except the gov'ts ego. These are the ones I protest.
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@clawcat A garden grown for private consumption of the food grown. It's private property. I grew it, I should have the right to eat it. But the F.D.A. is trying to bar people from growing their own gardens under the guise of "safety". Now, if I wanted to SELL my crop, I can completely understand government oversight. But to say I can't GROW IT unless it's approved by the gov't and it's got to be tested before I put it in my body? That goes to dwindling of private property rights in my book.
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@singingcowboy674 - I guess you are talking about Senate Bill 510, which never became law. This is why we have three branches of government. We have a great deal of legislation introduced which does not become law; this doesn't mean the gov't has changed from a democracy into something else; in fact, it is an example of democratic law making. Do you have a problem with it being illegal to grown opium and marijuana? An individual cannot grow these crops for personal use - is this Communism??
clawcat 1 year ago
@clawcat Not sure. But I never said we WERE a communist gov't, I believe I just suggested we were hurdling toward it. lol We are close if not fascist already moving towards socialism. The next step is communism. Now, I have to give you props on your debate skill. Good point regarding opium and marijuana crops. The only rebut I'd have to that is, generally one grows those crops to distribute, which damages society as a whole when turned into cocaine. Mary, undecided on.
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@singingcowboy674 - you are a good debater as well. You are correct in that you didn't state we were Communist, but did suggest we were charging down the road that leads to that state. I don't agree with you. Growing pot can get you 25 years in jail in Florida and I'm not talking for commercial distribution; also just having the plant (more than 25 GRAMS - less than 1 ounce) can get you 25 YEARS. No one EVER claims these are socialistic or communistic. Btw, opium gets turned into heroin.
clawcat 1 year ago

It's the way ideas are exchanged which seems to fail between conservatives and liberals all 2 often
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@singingcowboy674 - how about agree to disagree =) I also agree that debate is not black and white, but rather nuanced shades of gray. It would be very good for all of us if the type of dialogue you and I engaged in (the exchange of ideas and examples in a rational manner) was the norm in this country. We would be far better off if we could talk to each other, realize our difference and find our common ground. Perhaps you and I need to be running political parties? LOL
clawcat 1 year ago
@clawcat I would love to run, problem is I'm afraid I'd win. That would be bad cause I'd get dead quicker than Kennedy. lol I don't conform to either party nor do I hold political loyalties. I'm a conservative and lean toward Republican/Libertarian, however I'm a completely free thinker. That's dangerous in our established government. lol And I have to say, at the beginning I didn't expect to wind up in this dialog. I thought I noticed a tinge of hostility, but.......
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@clawcat I believe the mutual recognition of each other's debating skills softened any rigidity we held toward each other's commentary. :) I tip my hat to you sir! (If I was wearing one. lol) I think the biggest problem our parties have is the lack of respect for the other's opinion. It's like the Atheist/Christian debate. It's hard to find an atheist that respects, though he disagrees with the other's belief in Christ. Seems to be they fancy themselves mental elitists. Can't debate most ofem.

@singingcowboy674 in communist country there is no class society. i disagree with you if any it would a fascist country.
istraight1 1 year ago
@istraight1 Yeah, the ruling party and the peasants. But if you look really closely, and you may disagree with this point, but all the presidents, I'd even venture to say since daddy Bush, in some shape form or fashion either the legislative, judiciary or the executive office one, sometimes even working in tandem have implemented laws, orders or rulings; or even propaganda at the very least, trying to smear the lines between classes. The middle class is disintegrating.....
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@istraight1 A evidence of tampering with the class structure is if you'll look, just don't know where to tell you to go see it, the gov't, no matter the president has continually risen the poverty line. If you can get people under the poverty line, and get them gov't benefits, psychologically it get's you used to the gov't providing a "boost" and eventually they create more and more programs, people get more and more accustomed to them, start to expect handouts by gov't. Do you see the progress?
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@istraight1 It's a grooming if you would. The mental slope is a slippery one regarding what "necessities" of life a person is "entitled" to. It doesn't start out as obvious, but as the generations progress and are raised up in that climate, they start demanding greater, costlier things. Take healthcare for instance. It's not completely unreasonable to desire that everyone have access to healthcare. By no means. But then, do all people have a right to a home? There's more, but no room. lol
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@istraight1 - rhe definition of fascism from Merriam-Webster - "a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascist) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition." No dictator, no exaltation of state over individuals & since we just had elections in 2010 w/the opposition party winning, no suppression.
clawcat 1 year ago
@singingcowboy674 - you mention the 45 goals of the communist party - #32, while part of the Manifesto, cannot by itself, be construed as Communism. This can easily be defined as Socialism, however. Communism, Socialism, Fascism, Democracy, Theocracy, Autocracy - these are all means of government. Just calling something "Democratic" doesn't make it so, just as calling something "Communist" does not make it so. Also, having something read into the Congressional Record doesn't MEAN anything.
clawcat 1 year ago

It's socialist.
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@singingcowboy674 i will still call him a moron but just smart enough to elected.
istraight1 1 year ago
@istraight1 Just to continue in the spirit of debate, lol, the ACTUAL number attached to Bush's IQ is 129. I'm just slightly smarter. lol His SAT score was a 1209 which isn't to shabby. And he DID attend Yale, which you can't be a moron and get in there. lol His scores wasn't high though. He was a C-B student. But even the movie touted him to be an under achiever in college. He only went cause daddy made him. He PROB coulda done better had he wanted to apply himself. Half assed try.
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@singingcowboy674 - thanks for the info on Bush's IQ and SAT scores. I agree he could have done been had he tried. I find it fascinating that with my 139 IQ and 1250 SAT, I didn't make it into any of the Ivy League Schools, even being in the top of my class. BUT, then again, MY father didn't go to college. He went into the Air Force to serve his country instead. And of course, I graduated from college with honors - no Bs or Cs! Interesting. Thanks again!
clawcat 1 year ago
@clawcat We may disagree on most things but to this I can only say "touche!". lol Now you are going to think that I'm off my deep end when I say this, but, hey, who am I to you in the first place, right? lol I subscribe that our presidents are groomed in advance. Pre-selected if you will. Our elections are merely an appeasement to the people of our great nation. So, it adds validity to your statement in that, people obviously lacking in qualifications can be scuttled up the ladder by money.

"left use a lot harsher tactics than the right when poking a little fun if you would be intellectually honest." what you mean is that right harsher tactics then left like fox news
istraight1 1 year ago
@istraight1 I stand corrected on the comment "having the world's full blessing" regarding the war. You ARE correct that a violation of 1441 did not authorize force, but neither did it constrain a unilateral show of force. And House Joint Resolution 114, in compliance with US law, gave it's bilateral support of the President in declaring war against Iraq. I'll post the citing of the UN resolutions enforcements from the HJR 114 in a following comment due to character constraints.
singingcowboy674 1 year ago
@istraight1 HJ Res 114 states "Whereas in the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution (Public Law 102-1), Congress has authorized the President `to use United States Armed Forces pursuant to United Nations Security Council Resolution 678 (1990) in order to achieve implementation of Security Council Resolution 660, 661, 662, 664, 665, 666, 667, 669, 670, 674, and 677';
Also the same authority was used to authorize Clinton's Desert Fox engagement.

Lets take your beloved EIB Network over to Pakistan and see what you say about that country, compared to here in the U.S.

Ninninvt 2 years ago
why do you want the Olympics? London 2012 jumping for joy with a THREE BILLION POUND investment, now is facing a TWELVE BILLION POUND bill and counting. For what? watching a load of minority sports ending with seven foot streaks of piss jumping into buckets of sand.

Hey, I just call em' as I see em'. Your direct quote, verbatim , " the typical liberal mindset" shows everyone, that, for hardline conservitves it still is a "us against them" arguement. Sadly, it shouldn't be

Last I heard Chicago was in Illinois, within the USA. How unpatriotic of these so-called patriots - how pathetic.
northmeister 2 years ago
To all the so called conservatives, just a thought to ponder about Rush, Hannity, or Beck. These individuals that you admire so much what have they done to help our country out. They have done nothing except bitch and complain about what the liberals are doing and what they are not doing and made a career out of it. If our country fails its because we let jerks like this manipulate us all into hating each other. Finacially they are doing fine while the rest of us lose everything.
spearfish80 2 years ago
The facts are that the Olympic host cities have rarely ever made a profit. In fact most had to be bailed out with millions and sometimes billions of dollars. This push was by Valarie Jared, obamas senior advisor since she and her family owns the largest section of land in Chicago (now slums) to build the Olympic Village and would make hundreds of millions in the process, it's all about corruption! This was not a loss for the US, it was a loss for obama!
dantheleo 2 years ago
Can any conservative on here actually post something with out stealing from rush, beck, or hannity. Come guys at least be smart enough to make your OWN arguement

I always notice the libs accusing conservatives of quoting rush, hannity, or glenn. How is it any different than you libs mindlessly repeating everything that Obama says? How is it any different than libs never questioning a single thing that our amateur current administration says? I'm not even a big listener of any of those pundits, but let's be fair here.
a1b2c3balls 2 years ago
