No kidding! But the whole point of sci-fi is to be "based" on science. For instance, in the movie "Alien" the last one, the Ressurection. Sigorney Weaver is in the space ship with a monster abd flicks acid on the window. It eats a hole and the monster is "sucked out". In this movie the guy jumps into space with no suit and survives. Thats idiotic oversight.
Remember 2001? Did you cry over that too? I mean we are a good amount of time past that date and i don't see that technology. How much experience do you have in space anyway?
Actually, you can do that for a short amount of time. The reason for that the alien got sucked out was the vacuum and difference in pressure. In Sunshine, the guy had a helmet and also wore the insulation things he grabbed from inside.
The "alien" (or whatever he was they will not even let you get a good look at him apparently he is a crew member from the 1st ship) sabatoges the connector. The other guy literally ripped the insulation out of the walls like wall paper and wrapped it around him. SO RETARDED just fucking stupid and its amazing someone found some suckers to fund this movie let me tell you.

Explain how I am a moron. The story unfolds 50years from now. Add that to scenes like the guys going out into space with no suit on, myserious "stoyaways", military crew with no disipline that dont follow SOP. This movie sucked ass. EVERYTHING was wrong with it.

This movie ABSOLUTELY SUCKED! Right! As if only 50 years from now humans will have the tecnology in this movie! Way to set the plot idiots! Also the sun will GROW and expand consuming earth in its path that's what science says! Good movie dumbasses!
