  • blizzard is only existing because of south korea, and vice versa

  • quite a lot of that apm is spam, but its to get the nerves out so its helpful :D imo u dont require that much clicking to play... example 4:57 they are pamming jut switching in between unit, you dont need that, it doesnt help but sometimes they go back to base and produce stuffo that helps, but not all of those xD

  • <3 Moon

  • Koreans talk softly, and they aren't stubborn or arrogant even though they're the best in the world. Holy crap what a great country.

  • @pwnwner ... that's not the majority of the country >.>

  • @KorhalsSon I use my pinkie when I play, but yea it's not nearly that fast. If I use ring finger for the z a q buttons I tend to mis-click and hit x s or w instead, so it balances out :)

  • The WC3 guy was so clam it makes me nervous.

  • @xGundamz what do you mean by clam?

  • @cactu calm*

  • moon is the #1 wc3 player in the world and he thinks his apm is "average or a little above average" lol what a modest guy

  • moon is the bruce lee in wc3 ;D

  • This guy gets groupies while playing games 11 hours a day. I am jealous.

  • 14 years old and become a pro-gamer :D

Man 2 months to go and it will be my 16th years old. Still can't do fucking anything out yet to be a true pro-gamer :D

  • I've been to Korea and some of these pro gamers are treated like celebrity and are dating models. Yes I was surprised and more props to them. I can never dedicate myself to one game for that long or play for more than 2 hours everyday.

  • "I have always liked computer games since I was young, so I decided to turn pro when I was 14."

    Wow

How can you be that good? To have people asking to pay you to play a game since you were 14.

    Thats a real gosu.

  • Damn at 3:44 one of his APM should be used to pop that rager zit on his nose - looks like the ass end of a baneling

  • he has long finger nails!!! its so he doesnt have to move his hand much so his finger can hit the keys LOL.

  • Way over half of the clicks made showing moon playing wc3 was mainly just to keep his APM up and his finger going.

  • @mossi12345

What does he click to spam stuff?

  • @pogoman555 Just ment that he's checking his herogroup, base, buildings being made etc to keep his apm up. I bet it is hard, but he does have a lot of clicks not being needed

  • Moon 4 Life \m/ Best WC3 Player :)) in my opinion :))

    I bet they'll play StarCraft 2 soon.

  • @Willettes1 I bet you are a console noob...

  • @Willettes1 people get money for playing chess and chess has been around for more than 2000 years.

  • @Willettes1 yes they do

  • just clicking as fast as you can does utter nothing. If you take the time think of how the game is evolving then you will follow the path to victory and finally get that pancake mix

  • @tomstutorials They are clicking fast in order to micromanage their units and unit production, they aren't doing it for nothing. This is how they've evolved the game.

  • people who say "pwned" are by default fucking retards

  • 200-300 APM lol..when I play StarCraft I think I have about 30-50 APM :D

  • i think korea is nerds heaven :/

  • @redcomet2010 nice job stealing my comment from gosugamers

  • Comment removed

  • Nada = Brian from FTTS

  • @scottyz24 but no games can match the balance of starcraft that allows the same amount of creativity and innovation that makes such an old game continuously exciting to watch and play.

  • because video games are srs bsns

  • If he play on my keyboard, surely it will be broken up in one day

  • "get a life get a life how sad"

    1. their lives are fulfilling in their society, and obviously more than anyone who has to come to youtube to talk down other people.

    2. these particular gamers are probably contracted for over $100,000 us dollars a year, plus both are famous and have won tournaments in the past with extremely big prize pools (40 grand - 20 grand)

  • ok damn i get it thats his hair

  • Is that SC2 he's playing?

  • 3:05 lol

  • Comment removed

  • @aunel2

Yes, and chess players just move small objects, and soccer players just kicks a ball..

  • @aunel2 You just don't recognize it as a skill because it is something you have no hope of matching, so you decide to think of it as a useless thing so it wont bother you subconsciously as much.

  • @TheTrueShrintek u mad.

  • @aunel2 He gave you a reasonable argument in his defense and all you can say is "u mad"?

I guess ignorance is indeed bliss.

  • @HCNguyen86 u mad too.

  • @aunel2 u suck cock faggot.

  • nerds...

  • the APM is waaay out of control on this guy

  • This guy can get laid instantly.

  • @xZjangox In korea lol

  • @xZjangox damn i play games 2 and i am considered as a freak...

  • i dont know man these people look unhealthy and a little slow.

  • Uber macro skills.

  • Get a life

  • @wilsongb100 you do realize Pro gamers in the asian market make as much as pro sports players in the US and have a bigger fanbase than all american sports combined. I would say that is a pretty good life.

  • @overclockedamd123 You actually have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. The minimum salary for a professional sport player in the US is on average around 750,000. That's above the maximum for a gamer.

US sports also have a bigger fanbase, guaranteed.

  • @muffinman18 so maybe i was sarcastic on the salary but no...YOU obviously have no idea what your talking about if you even THINK US sport have a bigger fanbase. You are just flatout wrong..thank you come again.

  • @overclockedamd123 Average attendance of an NFL game is around 65,000 people. Average attendance at an MLB game is around 30,000. Average attendance at an NBA or NHL game is around 15,000. This is only for regular season, NFL sells out practically every single game, these leagues have a lot of games, tickets are expensive, TV deals for these leagues regularly net a couple hundred million dollars and, in the case of the NFL, a couple billion, and this is also including small market teams.

  • @muffinman18 Lol 65,000... please... -_-

  • @muffinman18 you wrong...so get over it.

  • @overclockedamd123 You mind throwing some numbers my way?

  • @muffinman18 Time for simple math class. The American population is 300,000,000+ while South Korea's population is 50,000,000. If 65,000 people attend the most popular sport in America, that means only 10,833 people have to attend ONE of the most popular sports in Korea. Look at WCG events, and look at the crowd size. If that isn't 10,000+ I don't know what is.

  • @muffinman18 A chinese game "Legend of Mir - Three Kingdoms" has over 200 million subscribers.. I dont think you get a much larger fan base than that. And so it is with the rest of the gaming community in asia :) We can't even come to close to it.

  • what an empty life

  • for throwing out like 1000APM they sure take forever to say something.

  • I think my APM is about 10

  • dude WTF

  • the text is so hard to read at times cus of the colour

  • girls shouldnt be playing videogames.

    Let alone warcraft 3.

  • I like cookies.

  • @ntstlkr I also like cookies! :]

    Add me

  • You people don't understand something. That's a routine, they flip through less than 4 consecutive buttons each time. After a while most people would be able to do that, he's flipping through a menu, those aren't actions jsut muscle memory. No human being can make 200 decisions each second, let alone do them on a keyboard. He's "flipping" through stuff.

  • @Odenkay You would be surprised to know what kind of capable human minds are out there. Chess grandmasters for example, they think of ALOT of moves per second during a match, and it isn't "muscle memory" because they are in different situations and there are always different possibilities.

  • @vovaparkourukraine1 No, that's muscle memory too. They (National Geographic iirc) showed a russian master chessplayer a picture of a chessboard for 1 second (a truck drove by) , she could recreate the whole board after. Chess players play with muscle memory, they don't think about their actions. If you ever went to a real chess tourney you would see how amazingly fast they are.

  • @Odenkay I know this response is a bit late lol, but...just saying that you misunderstood what I was trying to say because your example does not match up with what I was trying to talk about. Memorizing what a chess board looks like in one position is nothing, you don't need a grandmaster for that...Also I did not know chess players played quickly...grandmasters get two hours for 40 moves and then additional time is added on if the game has not ended at that point.

  • @Odenkay

I hope you means minute, not second.

Also, each action is not a decision. Each decision might require a lot of actions, and yes, this is muscle memory, but its still actions?

  • Insufficient gold, FUUUUUUUUU

  • with fingers like those

she could easily please a woman

  • i think my apm is about 20?

  • @ke422azn ur a fag, lol pwnt

  • @AMplayerX Yep, you sure pwned me. Wait, explain how again? Haha newb. Get some real life stats

  • @ke422azn "Get some real life stats" that made me laugh, you're such a fucking retard, ignored

  • @AMplayerX Chemical Engineer Grad 2006. Pwnt

  • @ke422azn Well if you see the amount of practise they do in a day, i don't think they can find any time for gym and nutrition :)

  • wtf....ill go to school from now on...^^

  • Moons contract with wemade is 700.000.000 won, roughly 570.000$ for 3 years

Nadas contract is 330.000.000 won, rougly 270.000$ for 3 years

Moon is the worlds best wc3 player and totally deserves that huge contract

Even tho NaDa isnt doing much for the team in PL, his reputation itself is an advertisement and its pretty decent contract to have compared to other pros. Wemade treats an Esports icon kindly

  • these needle dicks are the reason RTS games are not for your avg gamer.

  • Push the tempo! :D

  • @Egamer9000 no bieber is doing his hair look. he was first.

  • @Egamer9000 since when has that been the 'bieber hair look?' lol that hairstyle has been in asia for the longest time. its only now that people in america are pullin it

  • thats cool but hey ive seen vaginas and continue to do so and i wouldnt trade it for a keyboard.

  • lol i wonder how mad he would get if someone deleted his account

  • I can beat you kid

    you still kiddy...

  • I'm disappointed. He's wasting tons of time repeating keystrokes. Look at him control his vultures vs that nexus, he completely wasted time on it. I could achieve the same effect in ~4 actions. His haste makes him imprecise as well, as they consistently double and triple click locations merely to count as actions.

It's part of the showmanship. Nobody REALLY wants to see two sweaty kids play a video game, they have to spice it up somehow, and clearly sky high APM is how it's done.

  • @dbaird337 Not sure you understand. The reason they do these, what you say wasted actions, is to keep their pace. If a player were to complete everything in as less actions as possible and then just sit idle, it would slow them down.

They need keep their fingers moving, its part of their muscle memory. To perform in such a way as you suggest, would ultimately slow them down and have a negative effect on their play.

  • @Cakewrangler I could understand where you are coming from. I play Heroes of Newerth so I can understand pace at ~100 APM per game, although that spikes to ~200-225 if I'm playing a very micro based character. That being said, I have little problem changing pace in very fast games. Granted, HoN has more macro than micro, but I still feel that efficiency is being sacrificed for showmanship in these pro SC players. If you're wasting actions, you're wasting actions. Period.

  • @dbaird337 the hell? macro is base management, there is 0 macro in hon, its 100% micro. that said, 200+ apm is very common in the higher levels of hon and dota play, though mybe not quite as necessary as it is in starcraft

  • @barbsq T_T Hooray for typos, that's backwards. Should have been micro > macro.

200+ APM in HoN is USUALLY people with a bad habit of spamming movement more than they need to unless trying to circumvent the ailing pathing system.

  • @dbaird337 HoN doesn't involve any macro. None. Micro is the only thing involved in HoN because you're only controlling a single unit. In SC, not only are you in charge of being able to micro multiple units, you also need to be able to macro your base. Macro meaning you're constantly making income by expanding your base, then using the income to make buildings, which then produce units to bring to the battlefield. Don't even compare HoN and SC in terms of APM.

  • @InternetMudkip T_T Hooray for typos, that's backwards. Should have been micro > macro.

I was not directly comparing HoN APM to SC APM, I was just making the statement that while high APM indicates a higher level of attention and management, it often sacrifices efficiency. I was making a generalized statement about APM in terms I understand best. I don't know how much HoN you've played, or at what level, but try playing some of the much more micro heroes (ophelia, succubus, pollywog ect).

  • @dbaird337 High APM does sacrifice efficiency in the early stages of the match. Like when both players have only 4 workers and they're clicking everywhere, it just seems unnecessary. That said, that "unnecessary" spamming they do early game helps warm their fingers up for the inevitable mid to late game confrontations, when they both have to micro good sized armies against one another, and need to macro their bases. It's much easier to be doing all of that with >100 APM instead of 10 APM.

  • @dbaird337 wrong.

  • @dbaird337 Totally true

  • It's true what he says about missing a proper education. I mean, his bones and especially the joints and sinews as well as his brain will keep him at the top forever.

And what then? Bereft of sponsorship, with almost no education whatsoever. A hard, stony and short path that he chose, I think. o0
