  • I like our watch....oh yeah and your organ playing was okay, i guess :)

  • こんな電子パイプオルガン(?)売ってるんですか!?

  • how much time you've been playing this is really admirable, maybe this and some metallcia covers is bringing me into keyboard :)

  • 感動させて頂きました。お見事

  • awful sound in that organ. very plastic sound ...

  • Every time I listen to this thing, I get in full-on, kick-some-ass mode.

  • impressive

  • Robert Goldfinch - excellent tempo, excellent registrations. You are very gifted. I have the same organ in my house. Johannus is by far the best organ company to purchase an organ from. I had a three manual and sold it to someone. I now have a loaner Johannus at the moment. Someday I will again own a 3 manual Johannus. The sound is incredible! Keep up the Great and Swell practicing!

  • scusatemi, io sono della scuola antica...

    agogia, dynamica....

    tactus...

  • mi sembra un po' troppo ...veloce.

    pero'.....

    grazie comunque.

  • too fast

  • i absolutly love when the pedals come in. i just wish it was better quallity

  • I love this song.

    Excellent job!

  • This is so deeply beuatiful that i feel me very happy with this....

Bach is one of the great composers ever

  • did you play all 4 parts? or is there something pre-recorded? i thought what i saw/heard were a bit off heh or is it just my video?

  • @Larzuk19 .... I did play all parts. The video is not very good qualitly.

  • @thelord2000 heh mybad :P haha i just realized that you had feet going too :P whoopsie

  • @Larzuk19 What he doesn't play wityh his hands, he plays with his feet. Organs have footpedals that resemble that of a keyboard only its purpose is to played with th feet! That takes a lot of coordinations and, from a pianists perspective, I don't know how the hell an organist plays without any mind-explosions involved. Which is why I give thelord2000 mad props for playing such a technically demanding piece :)

  • AWEOSME!!! you have a brain in each hand and foot man!

  • Excelente !!, Muchas Gracias master !!.

  • you have like 6 brains :D:D::D:DD I can't imagine myself doing this without having a seizure LOL!

    good job!

  • if you will have six brains you would be dead by now so what are you talking about (:

  • wowzers

  • In awe

  • the timing between the trill and the feet needs to be worked at at 1:00 , that and this peice needs to be played in a dry enviorment with less reverb. true, it sounds nice, but if you want truly traditional, it needs to be very crisp. overall, very well done.

  • wow

  • The tempo and flow were absolutely flawless! I love this version of Bach's Little Fugue.

  • All I have to say about this, is it's damn impressive. I've falled in love with this piece by Bach and you did not disappoint

  • O,O,,, wow,,...

  • I like your tempo. To me that's appropriate for the piece. :D

  • amazing!!!!

    thank you for sharing.

  • thats rediculous

  • So far, this is probably my favorite version of this piece posted on YouTube. I'm considering buying my own organ. What kind are you playing here?

  • try "ton koopman and his dancing shoelaces"

  • Ty. A Johannus Sweelink opus 20.

  • @StoryNClark lol same here just called my mom to tell her that ima buy a organ and i would like to learn =P

  • This is freakin AWESOME!!! I just heard this a little while ago and saw this video, and i freakin love this. I bet its hella hard to play a organ. I play piano, and even that gets a bit hard, lol!

  • Is that comfortable playing with the watch on?

  • Why not?

  • Spirited. Unflagging tempo...consistent phrasing and articulation. Slower tempi always more treacherous & demanding to sustain the level of energy heard here. Appreciated the light, transparent pedal registration. Overall very enjoyable reading.

  • Not the best. But, excellent by its own accord. Nearly concert worthy!

  • tempo too fast and sounds very rushed.

  • i think you could be right.

But I liked it at that speed.

  • I liked it

  • ^--- completely blown away

  • that was SO GOOD!!!

  • excellent played

  • Woowweeee

  • un gros bravo mon cher ... bien fait :)

  • Good job!!!

  • I feel if you can play bach on the organ you should be able to just about play anything on the organ...

  • Not really true, I can play this piece on the organ but not the fugue of BWV 565. Might be because I just started playing the organ

  • Hey, I'm looking for oposition on that...

  • Comment removed

  • you mean "gigue" BWV 577?

  • Right. I just think that "Dance" sounds a whole lot better than "jig"

  • No, I didn't play that, I found it way too difficult.

  • This piece works at this speed. It is to boring when play slowly. I ike it.

    Very good

  • Its the way its supposed to be played, (listen to how Virgil Fox does it.)

  • Very good

  • Not being rude here but that is how it is ment to sound on a organ and the J.S Bach G minor Fugue (little) is achley played like this with the Right stops go to France or German and here this peace being played u tell a organist there to take a few things off they will tell u to go away ... sorry but im being Truth as eny other organist would be

  • Very nice playing, but won't it be better if you try to slow down? I think it's too much registers on. There are only sugvgestions - I'm not a proffesional musician.

  • I miei migliori complimenti.

Suoni questa bellissima fuga in maniera brillante e pulita sei veramente bravo.

  • I Think The Styx Version Was Played Very Well Played. This Was Very Good Too.

  • amazing!

  • What kind of organ are you playing? The organ sounds and looks beautiful!

  • Well played, and its G minor.

  • Actually, it is G minor, not D. Bach has another fugue called "Toccata and Fugue" and that one is in D minor. Btw, very nicely played.

  • i think it's in E minor. I'll eat my hat and my scarf if it is!

    Very much enjoyed this

  • Could it be in Eb minor?????

Might have to eat my pet dog if it is though.

  • We could have an eating fest here!

Am going to explore more of your work now..

  • Oh, and yes, could well be Eb minor!!!!! Will you cook your dog first? Ketchup?

  • ITS D MINOR NOT G MINOR

  • Very funny...if this is in D minor I shall eat my shoes!!!!! (and socks)

  • its g minor

  • Ottima interpretazione.

    Preferibile un buon organo meccanico.

  • WONDERFUL! I like your playing very much.

  • It comes over as a bit too fast and genrally rushed feeling. I was always taught to play this piece slowly and flowingly and with all Bach never be in a rush to finish it, enjoy the music and let it flow.

  • also bach wrote it in d minor not g

  • No its G minor, BWV 578 is G minor.

The fugue's reply to the theme on the left hand starts in D minor. Know before you talk.

  • Maybe, but this piece specifically is a show off piece, of the performer, the organ itself, and of course Bach. And while it's not a go as fast as you can kind of thing it definitely sounds better at this tempo rather than most of the others that posted their versions on youtube

  • Thanks Rob, I enjoyed that much more than when you take my money on the golf course.

    Dave E.

  • Great!

  • Very Nice thanks for sharing.

    :-)

  • Perfect, but perhaps you need improve a little the articulation. Congratulations.
