There was a song in the 50's by 2 harmonizing brothers, or maybe not brothers which I have unsuccessfully searched for. Some of the lines, "Am I loving you in vain, will you lead my heart to shame; I'm in the middle of nowhere with you." Anybody know about it?
Curly released an album on Cassette called "Nevada Breaks". I don't know if it was ever released on CD. All instrumentals with one exception, his wife sang 'Houston'.
This song is truly great! The Wilburn Brothers are incredible! Thier TV show is currently on RFDTV and is amazing!I wish we had more video clips of them.
Willie Nelson owns ALL the old Wilburn Brothers Shows. He first re-aired them on his own ,Outlaw, network but that is no longer around. He now allows the RFD network to air them.
QueenLoretta, are you sure ole Willie ownes the rights to their shows? I thought they were owned by Jim Owens productions? Reguardless of who ownes them, I wish they would re-release them in CD and DVD format, or sell 'em to me so I could! (Wishin' I had the kind of money it would take to do something like that)
Now this is country music! I was born at the wrong time. I remember the show on Saturday nights at Grandmas house. If I was a bit older then, I guess I'd lived in Nashville. I think Jim Owens has the rights to their shows. Write 'em and ask for a RE-RELEASE of their albums on CD.
