Take it from someone who saw the Killers Tour in the 1980's, Paul's voice was indeed raw and intense live than most present I.M. fans could ever imagine. Also, Dave, Adrian, Steve and Clive were pure murder live during this period of I.M.'s history. Believe me, I witnessed these 5 lads bring the house down in Long Beach, California and steal the show right from under an established powerhouse such as UFO. Up the irons my fellow I.M. fans and never forget those who began Maiden! Never!!!

Paul's voice is brilliant for this early stuff. He clashed with Steve Harris, that was the problem. The Iron Maiden town wasn't big enough for the both of them. However, never did Maiden make such spine-tingling, dangerous and spell-binding music as they did when Paul and Steve were together. As for Dave Murray; he's just been genius from the day he joined until today. If he was one of the 60's guitarists like Clapton or Townsend - he'd be considered a genius by all, not just people with taste.
