Young people learn this about Dorothy Collins: Her arose fame arose from being one of the principal singers on the NBC TV show "Lucky Strikes Your Hit Parade from1950 through 1957 & in 1959. She was famous long before she appeared on the Hollywood Palace and Candid Camera.

Dorothy was on several episodes of "Candid Camera", where they called her "Crash Collins". :)
