  • how big is the dynamo 250

  • Hi I am getting 2 100W versions of these for nothing ! but I already have 2 250W ones, can they be all linked together ? I also have the CA-8 controller.

  • @djspider44 Sorry mate, not sure. But I think the programming is the same so they might work.

  • @djspider44 they probably link if they have the same mdx channels, gobos and pan/tilt but the brightness would look a bit wierd

  • Just like to add a comment I have some of these and I also work with DMX-in the future if you want to dmx these -then you cant invert the lighting show -you cant use dip 10 to invert in dmx -so well worth re considering this

  • @TomJohnson121 Yep allready knew this. But thanks for the heads up, maybe some one who has watched this vid dident know that and youve helped them :)

And Just to let you know I sold all my Dyna Range gear (Dynamo's, Dynarocks) For an Upgrade to Martin MX-4's, ADJ X Scan LED's and Martin RoboScans.

  • @martin0mac2000 , brian from DJ tutor did showed a video for scanners(dmx ligthing) that shakes when you pan x or y, use a dmx cable to prevent that shaking if you are just using xlr cable, shaking will occur

  • what kind of bulbs it uses???

  • The Dynamo 250 uses a ELC 24v/250w Halogen Reflector Lamp it looks like a downlight globe only with no glass in the front and different specs

  • i have the 100w version and you are 100% right about the shaking of the mirrors, but overall it is a grate little unit, mine cost me £92 GBP
