It's an interesting and rare point that the beauty of same gender attractions need not be sexualized. But this video is an desperate, crafty and adept attempt to retain shame. Gay men most often have perfectly average connections to their fathers and brothers and "masculinity". The actual reasons a young man may feel disconnected and "worried" with this issue is because of video's like this. This video is perverting something simple in hopes of having their way with vulnerable youth. :)

Straw men & selective qualification abound to an odd ditty, masking serious claims w/quirkiness. "Which does not need to be sexualized" could be tacked onto 'same-sex attraction'. Artists may admire & seek the male form for its beauty without sexuality. Does opposite-gender attraction explain women's sexual attraction? This is not just the opinion of man. This is the Word of God. So again, yes, he does speak on this subject.

I can see what they mean, I guess. Same sex attraction is when to men or two women are attracted to each other based on sexual drives, just as a man and woman would. Still, there is a difference between attraction and acting upon that attraction.

The official view of the Church is that such attraction is not sinful. Having sexual relations with someone of the same gender is, and can be repented of.

Ive always been very confused by this argument..... "Some men are born sexually attracted to other males". maybe you can explain it better for me... but at least for me.... a heterosexual..... you're born with the capacity/likelihood to be gay, just as you are born with the capacity to be straight. I think thats pretty logical & obvious. No one has sexual abilities as children, merely sexual capacities. i.e. because we are born with genitals and hormones, which will activate appropriately during puberty. However the tendency for them to activate to produce the realization of a certain sexual orientation during puberty is present at birth. This cant be chosen/resisted if present.

There is a difference between being born gay, and being born with a capacity or likelihood to be gay. I understand if someone says they where born with homosexual tendencies. I was born with the capacity to work in the medical field. I was also born with the likelihood to become a dentist. However i have chosen not to pursue either of those paths. As far as i know, there is no scientific method, that allows us to look at an infant and say this child is/will be, without question homosexual.

As far as I know, after talking with some guys, SOME gays had a choice, though they didn't know what to do with their feelings, and they got confused. I, as a gay man who is very open, have many male friends who are both masculine and attracted to women, I have always had a good relationship with my father/other older men in my family, and was spoken to thoroughly about puberty and other such subjects at a proper age.

The video doesn't say that people are gay because they don't have someone to talk to about puberty. The point of the video is that there is a difference between Same-Gender Attraction and Same-Sex Attraction. You should know that there are a large number that may feel some inclination either direction and they do not automatically identify with homosexuals. Any talk of "recruiting" or "grooming" is not talking about trying to "convert" straights over to be gay, but luring in, yes luring, boys that might be in the middle.
