the way i see it is that the girl that was part of the band died and everyone quite and Miku was the only one left, and in the end it was the girls ghost telling her that its ok to quit that band, and Miku decided that the ghost was wrong, like everyone else who quit.

Miku and her friends were in a highschool music club (sorta like K-ON!) the girl with black hair (calling Ami) was her best friend. Miku and Ami's dream was to be a famous singer. All of them were best friends but after highschool Ami disappeared then the rest shortly after. Miku continued pursuing the dream she once shared with her former best friend and worked hard, it paid off and she got a record deal. When Miku became famous Ami appeared, wanted to be friends again but Miku ignored her.

In fact, one of my friends tried to show me suggestive material (of Miku), and I told him to show some respect.

As embarrassing as this is, I see Miku as the sort-of "high-school crush" that I never had. I always liked girls that could play musical instruments, which is why I love my GF Michelle so much, as she can play the piano to a degree.

I believe this song's about a band where they experienced one of their players dying. Everyone is so sad and heartbroken that they begin to quit one by one, until only Miku is left. They think she's ridiculous for doing that and want her to quit as well (which can be tied into the "ghost" she sees at the end). When they see how serious she is about it, they develop some respect for her and are happy about her desicion. At least, that's what I got out of it :)
