for some reason, the layout of the dream hurdles made me think maybe they should have put the Dark Moray battle arena from sonic unleashed in dream hurdles but then again, you'd have to dodge dark moray's attacks whilst jumping hurdles at breakneck speeds.

this game feels like a mario party game just with sonic characters in it during the dream events. it would be cool if they did make a mario party game with sonic characters in it & call it mario party shuffle. having boards & mini games based on sonic stages like green hill zone & Elise's castle. coins should still be used to buy stars & rings should be used to buy chaos emeralds. bowser mini games should still make the loser lose coins & eggman mini games make you lose rings. god i hope

@MeltOver7403 They didn't get fired, their contract with 4kids were expired, and they changed their location to California; so they got the new voices in Studiopolis. Honestly I like the new voices, it's just takes time to get used to them.

Honestly, I think they could have use better people with Studiopolis considering they have AWESOME voice actors, but some terrible choices, like Amy's voice for example. Guess, they had small auditions for certain characters.

This game is mediocre from what I seen and played from the demos and it doesn't look like sega will stop anytime soon. You can get the game if you are really interested but don't expect to much from it.

@nintendolife25 Depends on opinion. It´s got a lot of content in terms of minigames, sports, and customisation, and the replay value is great. It´s only major flaw is simplyfing the 1 player mode (it´s just getting all the gold medals, beating every mini-tourney and set record, and beat all rounds of London Party) but it´s got tons of multiplayer options, hidden goodies, and great gameplay. Granted it´s no Sonic Adventure or Mario Galaxy but come on, it´s a sports game.

@Easmodx Sorry,but I could care less for the "content"of minigames and sports if it's not fun to do. The sporting events feel dated, largely unchanged from 2007.which is bad because that game was infamous for their repetitive and arm-aching controls. And all of the new events are just as monotonous and shallow as the winter one. The dream events look and the animations of the special powers look great but it's not enough.But this game will sell millions for an obvious reason: mascots.

@nintendolife25 Wheter it´s fun or not depends largely on opinion. I agree on the arm aching control, but that was fixed since the past game which requires actual movements instead of mindless waggling. Also, winter games was FAR from shallow or monotonous. Events had a lot of variety, items and moves: it was so fun to discover a new shortcut in the racing events, or to beat a hard mode tourney in hockey and whatnot. It´s ok if you don´t like sports/party games, but that´s your opinion.

@Easmodx It's not that I hate sports(well, only I only liked the mario ones anyway) or party games, it's just how sega choose to waste a potential of a great crossover with watered down sports and minigames. The winter one was indeed shallow and monotonous as the game holds your hand both A.I and gameplay wise. Too many events are played the same, recreation of real sporting events are bland with drab solo play,AI opponents are too easy to beat and have pointless unlockables.

The winter one was great because of the much more mario/sonic based gameplay wise: I prefer playing ice hockey with power shots, skiing with mini turbos and do mario kart battle mode on a handglider rather than being faithful to the real sports. The dream events threw mario and sonic tracks and item boxes into the mix which made them even better. As for the unlockables? More dream events, or alterna
