lol, yeah, but we have options on our cts like the 300 hp Direct Injection v6 and the a limited slip differential to go along with the real wheel drive and manual gearbox, so our cts far outpaces the BLS in performance and luxury:)Plus we get all the V-series cars for way cheaper than the europeans do:)

its a nice car, but it was a mistake to put a 1,9 saab diesel engine, to build it like a opel(wauxhall) vectra, and saab 9-3. europe should get american cadillacs but they should have diesel engines, cus 76% of all new cars is now sold with diesel engines in the big european market, like GB, Germany, sweden, finland, norway, italy, spain, france, portugal, austria, etc.

make  cadillac in the us, where its best!

the BLS is basically a saab 9-3 that they have put a different front and back end on. it's even manufactured in sweden. so if you think you are buying an american car you're wrong. you are buying a saab. but don't be put of by that, saab 9-3 is a great car! and it looks pritty good disguised as a cadillac.

Uhmm GM owns SAAB, so it's still American. It doesn't matter where it's built. It's who gets the money. Lexus and Acuras are designed and built in America, but they are still considered Japanese because Toyota and Honda are the ones getting the profits.

lexus & acura are not american car manufacturers owned by japanese companys. they are and have always been 100% japanese but happen to have factorys in the us. but saab is originally a swedish company and is still designed, engineered and manufactured in sweden just as they have been for the last 60 years. nothing has changed except who owns the stock, since 1998 it happens to be gm, but it's still a swedish car

It's more than just owning the stock. SAAB is a subsidiary of GM, which means GM has complete control over them. A lot of their engineering, and some of their manufacturing isn't done at SAAB. The Epsilon platform and Ecotec engines on the 9-3 are GM designs. The 9-2 is almost completely Japanese. And the 9-7 is almost completely American.

9-2 & 9-7 aren't sold in europe, ONLY in america. gm are to embaressed to sell them here. no one would buy them! they aren't near true saab standards in quality. the 9-2 is a crappy subaru with saab design elements & the 9-7 is an embarrissingly awful american chevy with saab design aspects. they destroy the saab brand by doing this! let saab keep on building brilliant completly swedish cars such as the 9-3 & 9-5 instead of disguising crappy american and asian cars for the american market!
