  • Sounds cool. Is is true duals?

  • @mesteelers1991 No it combines into a single dump after the cats

  • hey i have a 2000 reg cab z71 and i just blew my rear end and was thinking of put a tru trac in mine as well i was wondering what u think of yours and is it better then the stock rear ?

  • @ferny460 I don't own this truck anymore but I personally think it is better than stock. It had better traction obviously but it gave it a more "positive" feel also. It does not require fluid with a friction modifier in it but I used one with it and it was slightly smoother.

  • @Andy851 ok right on thanks for the info how much did ur tru trac cost ?

  • @ferny460 I cant remember exactly but I think around $425 for the locker. A buddy and I installed it so I couldnt tell you what labor would be.

  • Hey I had this setup for a bit while I was changing out my exhaust lol but I never tested what it sounded like at cruise at about 70mph. Was there a lot of drone?

  • @1dylan2277 I sold this truck in January but I do remember that there was some drone around 70mph but wasnt enough to annoy the crap out of me or my passengers.. If i went like 72mph it was perfect with almost none. If you have any more questions I'll be glad to try and help.

  • What size pipe do u have?

  • @dylandrostvids15 2.75" stock pipe during thid vid, it had 2.5" right before i sold it recently and bought a duramax

  • i think it sounds great just like this

  • Awesome. Is your CAI a K&N?

  • @acdclover66 I have the stock manifolds with a catalytic converter after both manifolds then it merges together into one pipe ( Y-Pipe ) and is dumped straight from there in the vid, I have put on a turndown pipe since..... I have a CAI intake installed btw....Sorry if its a bunch of jibberish I'm trying my best to describe it lol......Soon as I get a new camera I'll snap a few updated vids of the truck

  • how much of a difference performance wise would you say doin that did cause i got a 2002 gmc sierra with the 5.3l and im tired of that stock sound and performance

  • @BIGELK82 Not a whole lot of performance increase only slight but its mainly for the sound although it does help your engine breathe a little better...use headers to take full advantage of exhaust performance altough it is good to have a little backpressure because it supposedly mildly affects torque on the low end, i have failed to notice much difference though....thanks for the comment

  • sounds like a wet bagel

  • @25Timm25 your mom sounds like a wet bagel, have fun being blocked fag

  • what r u ridin a bagel u dirty mung!

  • I got a '02 Suburban with 300,000 miles on it. Not only these motors sound great, they can go forever.

Bout to install k&n intake in it!

  • @HI6HROLLA dam thats like half the miles i have on my 02 silverado o.o and yea it runs forever alright =)

  • @koreanboy89 Oh yeah! they wont give up and they sound great too

  • @Andy851 hell yea =D

  • sweet sounding good ol american power...rice burners only dream for sounds like this

  • i did the same with mine. sound badass!

  • Haha thats awesome...These motors sound insane when opened up

  • howmuch did it cost you to install the locker?

  • i did the same thing to my 2002 sierra except i kept my tail pipe, i love how it sounds

  • Hey, ive got an 02 z71 with a 40 series on it. What size pipe did you run?

  • well here its the stock 2.75 pipe just cut off, now i have 2.5" pipe run

  • i always heard that leavin the cats in made it sound crappy but this sounds great nice job how much did this cost u

  • Didn't cost me a dime! 15 mins with a sawsall took care of it. Personally I like it with the cats on this truck because it keeps the sound just right and it dosent pop and cackle like a mofo.

  • @Andy851 yaeh man is sounds good

  • if you dont like this truck than your a dumb ass

  • Lol This is my dream truck! Very nice!

  • Yep Sure Does! Thanks Darren

  • Damn! That's a nice truck! Is this a 5.3L? I got a 2002 extended cab just like this only tan...still has stock exhaust.

  • Thanks! Yep its got the rev happy 5.3l.....No problems at all with the engine its very dependable, especially considering how hard I push it. You'll love it if you change the exhaust, these motors sound great when opened up. Good Luck!

  • "also a note to the little faggots..."....What's up with that? Grow up. Minus five stars.

  • Hmmm that applies to you quite well, You grow up. Don't like it, get over it!

  • Yeh,I always laughed when these muffler companys claim there mufflers out flow a strait pipe, wtfe, use your common sense and realize it just is not possible,I always go glasspack or strait pipe on my vehicles, period, peace.

  • Sounds strong, strait through, none of that flowmster tin can shit, two thumbs up.

  • Thanks, I'll try and get another video sometime hopefully with my other camera. Yeah flowmasters are so generic and overated...

  • That sounds fuckin' awesome!!! I think im going to go rip off my Flowmaster now...

  • I like it, the camera distorts the sound a little but not bad. Keeping the cats kept the cackle down and made it loud enough to satisfy, but not enough to drive you insane!
