Shimita Jee- Bashir Humdard is Afghan not Iranian and this song after Late M. Raf has been sang by gr8 Afghan singer Late Ahmad Zahir. The bit is not from Hafez e Shirazi.

this is actually originally a Hindustani (mixed hindi/urdu - the most common form of speaking in India) sung by Mohammad Rafi in 1958 for the Hindi movie - Madhumati. It is definitely NOT pakistani and NOT sung by Mehendi Hassan.
