  • This is a tv show. It's all about ratings. Jamie may want to help people, but no ratings means no show.

  • Its about time !!!!!

    jamie oliver for life!

  • This is not diet or a freedom taking away like some people said below, it's basically bringing people back to what they can actually handle, human beings are not meant to be eating this much shit, pizza for breakfast? Omg! That's weird tbh :S

  • where can i watch this online for free?

  • Big up Jamie!

  • I just flagged this for Child Abuse

  • Kids today will live a shorter life than their parents - yet their parents ate the same crap as kids, sometimes worse foods. We were taught in school that pizza was made out of the 5 food groups. If you eat it for breakfast it won't hurt you. I agree about moderationm but we have many young parents today that aren;t too bright & see this with hysteria that their kids need to be on diets, not true. Kids should never be on a diet.

  • @Anglynn74 Whoaa... What school did you come from =o... And I agree kis shoould not be on diets but should watchj what they eat! And eat in moderation! :d

  • @Anglynn74

Its not a diet, you're diet is what you eat every day , this is a lifetime habit. But i agree with your point

  • @Anglynn741.It's not a diet. It's sensible eating.2. He is actually talking about ready-to-eat,preservatives packed lunches. These preservatives are also mutatives most of the time. And a serving of this shit food may contain 75% of the daily intake of sugar and salt.3.Their parents were not eating the same.Women 30 years ago cooked more at home and kids ate more proper home cooked meals. Now parents think they can serve them up a defrosted salt and sugar filled burger and it's ok.

  • @iKathryn13 It's not sensible to expect a child to east salad.. As for preservatives I ate this same junk over 35 years ago & no not all women made home cooked meals back then, us kids ate candy, McDonalds, Burger King, lousy school lunches, potato chips, & you name it - we turned out fine, I ate tons of junk as a kid & I've never had a health issue & was never an obese child. This is just another obsession & when society gets bored of it they'll go on to worry about something else.

  • @Anglynn74 So these people die and are obese by coincidence? If what you say is true then well done, you were lucky! But NOURISHMENT comes from NUTRIENTS which these foods don't have.Humans are not meant to feed on high amounts of fat and sugar!I know people fed up on junk food, and I have seen a girl praying she won't get diabetic at 16!I work in medicine and see many cases.I feel sorry for kids who may never eat proper food.Junk now and then obviously isn't a hazard, but a junk everyday diet is.

  • @iKathryn13 What I say is very true, I lived it as a child in the 1970s & 1980s. They're obese because they lack the movement that the children of yrs ago got, not because of what they eat. We ate junk food yrs ago all the time but we also burned it off by constant movement, we weren't sitting in front of computers or sitting texting all the time, we were outside all day running around sweating & burning it all off. What they have today is called atrophy, peaked metabolism & lack of exercize.

  • And here I am eating pizza for breakfast.

  • Unfortunately, this hasn't been exaggerated at all. The situation is really this serious in both the US and England, and it's worsening in many other countries.

  • in philadelphia, my school serves pizza for breakfast. WTF! when we go there i just avoid it and for lunch they actually do have salad. but everyday almost half of the kids in my school eat pizza every single day! Jamie Oliver needs to come to Philly

  • Bring the britts to America NOW!

  • in denmark we get food from home when we go to school

  • "literally the sky is the limit" ....yes jamie...so you can persuade children to eat ANYTHING IN THE WORLD except the sky?

  • 1:17 Then stop pointing at America! >:O

  • Bring your lunch from home. There, solved.

  • great message man! love it!

  • i kind of like to have left over pizza for breakfast but I doubt that I would feed it yo my kids though, well maybe... I really wouldn't expect a school to serve that for breakfast anyway.

  • Avoid grains, sugar, beans, potatoes and other starches. Eat lots of healthy meat, fish, eggs, fresh vegetables and fruit. Exercise regularly and intensely. You will notice a great difference.

  • @XCritonX lol grains wtf are you talking about lol. bean are good for you too and natural sugars are necesarry for proper brain functions as your brain takes up 20% of your bodies sugar use. potatoes are packed full of fiber in their skins and when cooked properly are not bad for you either. it's pretty obvious your trying to act knowledgeable about nutrition when you really have no idea what your talking about.

  • @ShatterEffectt Processed sugar is bad for you, always bad. Grains and beans are full of anti-nutrients that block absorption of essential minerals and vitamins. Wheat and some other grains have gluten that wrecks havoc on the human body.

This box doesn't have the room to write a full explanation. The whole explanation of how to eat naturally like our ancestors can be found in places like "Marks Daily Apple" blog, Google it and you just might change your life.

  • @XCritonX Phytates can be soaked out of grains and legumes dear. Learn to Weston A Price. :P Sprouting wheat berries before drying them out completely alters their composition and makes the breads made from the resulting flour a very healthy option.

  • The fact of the matter is, that children in America are going to have a shorter life than their parents - That is some gross generalisation right there.

  • Comment removed

  • @Ylviste Not everyone will live a shorter life than their parents, but on average, this generation in total will.

  • @Ylviste funny thing is it's not that much of a generalization when america's population has over 70% of ppl being over weight and since children are being fed crap in schools from an early age until they are 18, they get bad eating habits and boom large LARGE percentage of kids are gonna have a shorter lifespan. so maybe if you knew about what was actually going on then you would stop trying to find faults in specifics of what he is saying and decide to support it.

  • @ShatterEffectt Yeah, it is a terrible problem, obesity, but as usual, American reality shows always exaggerate on everything and highlight these shock generalisations instead of grounded facts, which there are very little, but I guess that is what the mass American public responds to - stupid dramatization.

  • @Ylviste Merely because you say it's an exaggeration does not make it so. Deaths tolls and their related causes are not exaggerations they are cemented in reality. To think that there isn't a fundamental problem with the way the average American looks at food in regards to nutrition, if they look at it in that regard at all, is to be in denial or oblivious to the harsh truth, we are poisoning our bodies, and diminishing our natural lifespans. To refute that is indulgent ignorance.

  • @Ylviste It really isn't a dramatization. Western society has built this industry that the people are so used to seeing we don't even pay attention to the health affects in the outcome. We aren't taught that the diet, what we're putting into our bodies has a larger importance than any over the counter drug/pharmaceutical most doctors make this illusion into thinking that is what will cure us from all sorts of miraculous diseases. There is so much more to it that needs to be addressed.

  • Now Chipotle is donating $1,000,000 to his revolution from Halloween BOOrito sales!

  • I remember when i was in high school our cafeteria would only serve preserved or canned food. I packed my own sandwich ever since i saw what happens when i left my pizza out for a hour.

  • youngphotograpgher6 dude you can just bring your lunch from home

  • Jamie stop dribbling.

  • @Wabeberu How is he dribbling? Are you obese?

  • @Wabeberu stop being fat.......

  • I also eat healthy after reading a book about all the crap and chemicals put in ourfood to purposely make us fat and to increase our apetites so that we consume more of their products....I've been going on it for about two years and haven't stopped since...but sometimes it's uncomfortable to be sitting at the lunch table with all these cafeteria food junkies who rave about how good the food is(ew disgusting)when i have all this fruit and other healthy stuff.

  • @Musician4eternityXD funny thing is your palate is probably more advanced than theirs and those things won't even taste that good to you anyway. seriously i won't say i started eating healtheir persay, but i kinda get where you are coming from since i used to eat alota fake crap and now i eat real food, not necesarrily healthy but its not chopped full of chemicals and BS and i tried eating the fake crap again just to see and it doesnt taste good anymore, just over salted BS.

  • I never ate the food at school, it was disgusting. I brought my own healthy lunch that I made myself. Even more disgusting was the pathetic level of education and indoctrination we were receiving.

At 15 years old I got a job (actually started a company) and paid my own private high-school from then on. Now a days I doubt that kids would be able to have that kind of freedom.

  • At least he genuinely cares. :D :)

  • Jamie's the best! Great show, also watch "Jamies american road trip".

  • I love Jamie Oliver...This is such a good shoW ,

  • This is a really great thing Jamie is trying to achieve...I hope it succeeds

  • I am so with you! I have been taking this on myself for years. Now that my son is in school, he takes his lunch and it is NOT what you showed on your show. I make sure I cool extra chicken or fish or any meat and carve it for his lunch, no processed meat in his lunch. If I don't understand 2 of the ingredients we just don't buy. Thank you for doing this show. I hope parents will stand up and think about what our kids are eating. Not just kids but themselves.

  • #6 RHONDA MCCOY is bought and paid by the process food producers.

  • Amen, Jamie! READ YOUR LABELS!!!

  • It's soooo important to support this food revolution across the world! we, used to eat healthy, there was no junk food at all, my gparents used veggies right from their backyard and cook them minutes before eating it! that's our goal now, c'mon ppl get behind, learn few recipes, cook urself to a healthy lifestyle and wellness :D

  • This guy is great. Serious kudos. I've watched the first episode. He deals with a lot of ignorant people, and he does it well.

  • I wish him luck

  • I really admire Jamie...

and also like him a lot.

Wish him all the luck <3

  • @anaisabelnogueira

I agree, he's a great man for devoting his life to this cause.

  • @pmzqabel

Ok, but don't forget he also opened a new and big market for his cooking books/ shows/ etcetera.

  • Good luck ... and great job

  • im definitely gonna watch this, this is an amazing project, i applaud Jamie oliver

  • @SaMsEqKrew Jamie isn't jealous of anything, he's trying to help your country and our generation by making us eat less preserved food. This has nothing to do with freedom.

  • The problem is that politicians have turned people into zombified subjects for so many years that we just expect the government to take care of us. The bailouts, health care - that's what it's all about it. Nobody is trying to wake people up and get them to take responsibility...until now. This could get ugly.

  • @surfer53 I totally agree with you on this. High fructose corn syrup I told my friend it was bad for her and then she told it's like table sugar, so it can't be bad. I told her it was crap and even americas biggest loser coaches are saying it's bad.

I did some research and results are disturbing.

  • He's so cute! I love him!

  • i think im in love w jamie oliver.

  • I LOVE JAMIE OLIVER! :)

  • + 1

  • this look cooooooooool!

  • It was about time! I couldn't believe that people actually serve pizza for breakfast! I live in Serbia, and here we eat pizza like, once or twice a month, but never as breakfast! And we don't eat at school... I totally support this project, and everyone should get the message! It's a big problem, and it was about time to solve it!

  • I'm half serbian ! :D This may not sound like a big deal to you but I've lived in Belgium and England all my life so I grew up kind of forgetting that I was half serbian and thought that Serbians don't come out much and no one has ever heard of them! :s So I never actually tell anyone about it. But I was so suprised to see on youtube a serbian person that I couldn't stop myself from telling you ... sorry for bothering you and sorry fellow Youtubers for writing a rubbish comment!!

  • @MilenaCasey That's okay. It's nice you guys get to meet each other.

  • love Jamie Olliver :) he came to my primary school in England :)

  • That can be taken as a good thing or a bad thing... ;)

  • I agree!!!! I am a vegetarian, and at my middle school, I do not have options!!! I will get a hamburger bun or some canned food!!! We don't have any cooks, we have reheaters!!! They serve the greasyest food you can think of!!! It's discusting!!! And sadly more then half of us have to eat it! We don't have a choice!!!

  • @youngphotographer6 Then bring your own........?

  • @youngphotographer6

    pack your own lunch!

  • @youngphotographer6 You should stop eating salad and learn how to spell "disgusting".

  • @FakeOpTic Wow, intelligent comment.

  • @youngphotographer6 You'd be better off studying english than worrying about food, you piece of shit.

  • @youngphotographer6

    I'm right there with you.

  • @youngphotographer6 bag your lunch

  • @youngphotographer6 What about a lunch pack made from home?

  • @youngphotographer6 Bring your own lunchbox

  • So great that finally someone is doing something about this problem, people don't know that they are killing themselves, and that the body can adopt any diet you do, the fast food is a big business that doesn't care about you, just what you buy, it's a mental addiction for everyone. YOU PEOPLE SHOULD SEE SUPER SIZE ME

  • im all for healthier eating and i completely agree with jamie 125%!! But as for the supersize me movie....i was working for mcdonalds at the time it came out...so i did watch it..unfortently that asshole who made it never showed himseld eating any of the healthier items or lower fat items...he never showed himself eating a salad, or a parfait...or the lower carb and lower fat breakfast burritos that were out then...u only saw him eating huge dbl qurater lbs and massive amounts of other items.

  • @gay23ny so true, the summer I worked for nathan's hotdogs, I lost weight because I ate the salads

  • @gay23ny You can't say "healthier items" and "breakfast burrito" in the same sentence.

  • @Grapesour sure u can...its less carbs cause its in a flour tortilla and the only thing in them is real scrambled eggs and onions and peppers and a little cheese. They r good for u
