  • iiiiiiiiiiihhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • fuck fuck fuck shit wtf fuck fuck fuck

  • :O

  • ouch!

  • so you are putting and eye inside of an eye

  • @xXxAhmedTarekxXx Their eye usually doesn't go numb, it just usually swells up for a few days...usually the surgery is done on one eye and then they wait for a week and do the surgery on the other eye to monitor any activity with the eyes...

  • I was born with congenital cataracts at birth, a few weeks after I was born, I had this surgery...cataracts were removed...I'm going to soon find out on August 22nd if I am eligible for an IOL surgery...I wear REAL thick glasses, but if it is possible for me to get this IOL surgery and I do get it, I would wear thin glasses...it's only a matter of me being eligible and the money to do it...hopefully my insurance will pay for it.

  • @frostwav hope you got what you wanted dude

  • @TheSleeb Actually, I got both surgeries one I got, on the 29th of August, the other I got last Monday. Thanks! my right eye last 24 minutes on the 29th, last monday it lasted 12. The reason is, my pupils are so small they didn't know they had to stretch them the first time, my left eye is even smaller, but they were ready and knew they would have to stretch it.

  • @frostwav and can you see good now with no glasses on? do you have astigmatism btw

  • @TheSleeb Well, I can see pretty good now without any glasses, but of course, to read, it would help with glasses, but I will have "normal" glasses now, my parents are going to buy the best quality they can get as a present. And yes, I have astigmatism, I got it a few weeks after I was born, when I had cataract surgery.

  • >.<

  • @XxSaphireassasinsxX first of all they are not getting there eye color changed they are replacing there cloudy cataract (its cataract surgery)

  • this surgery is different from ICL surgery .My friend had it .He researched it well

on yahooanswers and of course proctoraid com ... before proceeding

  • OMG!!!! LOOOOOL!!!!

  • Do you do this awake ?

  • @xXxAhmedTarekxXx Yeah I think so but .I'm sure they eye is numb tho.

And i hav to say there was prfuse bleedin...

  • this is so gross but its so awesome to watch O.O

  • OMFG this is sick !

  • that looks quite painful, you must have been sleeping?

  • omg o_O

  • my body just squirms just watching this but for some reason my eyes are the ast things that are affected O.o

  • To kodiak1966 - This particular (video) implant was about 5 years ago & there's been 6 additional procedures since then. The initial incident was a detached retina. The vision in this eye is now minimal and is still very distorted. A follow-up exam to determine exact fitting & position is highly recommended - perhaps with a local/referred ophthalmologist. Take care.

  • I had the acrysof IQ SN60WF...21.0 D put in 2.5 weeks ago. Distance vision was restored, need glasses for reading...nornal,the only thing is on the left side of eye(incision side),I keep seeing a kind of glare, distortion(driving me crazy).Am I seeing the side of lens?Am I seeing the incision?Am I seeing liquid still in the eye? Will this go away.I put sun glases on and it all goes away,If i put reading glases on and it all goes away...hmmm? Any info greatly appreciated.Surgeon on vacation....

  • I just had a cataract removed 5 days ago and had a lens implant.I already see perfect BUT it almost seems like I can see the side of the lens or it is relecting light everytime i move my eye bottom left of eye.I wonder if the lens is too small or it was not positioned properly??Or will this go away after a while? Its driving me crazy, the doc who did the sergery is a 5 hour drive away.

  • and what happen if that bubble stays inside the eye?

  • Looks like outtakes from Clockwork Orange.

Poor eye but amazing what can be done these days. I had LASIK a few years ago and still marvel at how well I can see.

  • is this surgary the same as a secondary intra-ocular lens procedure?

  • Imagine if he woke up in the middle of this, What would you do?

  • my eye hurts watchin this...... :D

  • i guess the eye isn't THAT sensitive as I thought

  • Aww that would hurt but cool

  • I had this surgery

  • What is the liquid they are using to on the eye? Are the haptics used for position?

  • @daimere it's a sterile sallen solution keep the eye from drying out.

  • that must be a pretty dangerous surgery

  • of cours not

the doctors put the patient to sleep

and a tool is used to keep the eye open

  • i don't know where you got the idea that you are put to sleep during the surgery but you are wrong you are completely awake they just apply the anesthesia to your eye so it is comfortable and the procedure goes smoothly they need you awake.

  • This video shows an older (less used) technique with a much larger incision and much more bleeding than the newer approach. Also, no cataract is shown (or removed) during this case. The opacity visible is part of the posterior capsule (the pouch that held the old cataract). This area will need a laser treatment called a YAG in the office. Finally, the air bubble is absolutely fine and absorbs on its own. It can even help protect the inner cornea lining while it's there. Just FYI!

  • That bubble they left in the eye...

That CAN'T be a good thing.

  • omg....poor eye..... D;

  • @OtAkUxcHaN Yes...

  • Watching this video makes me hungry. =P

  • me too!!!and i don't know why!!!!

  • i cant see a difference of the colour just the pupil is smaler...:D

  • hahahahaha omg that's so groossss

  • nice fish eye

  • ok this a real surgery....i love it

  • I am not a surgeon but it looks like there was a caterac there. Why not take it out when doing the lens implant? Maybe defeating the purpose for better vision? Great work implanting the lens.

  • ughh..

  • i had this operation 1week ago my right eye was a lazy eye that was inborn to me,the operation was almost 20mins and all i can see was a vey bright light but you can see the shadows of the apparatus theyre using its painless but sometimes you will feel a little after the operation the vision on my right eye had improve we are very lucky to have this technology right now because without this maybe many people are blind right now =)

  • I had this surgery 3 weeks ago :D

I'm really happy with the work. I was born with cataracts and they had to be removed when I was 3 and 6 months, as my eyes were not developped enough I had to wait 17 years to have this surgery, it might look discusting, gross or whatever you might think, but the feeling to see when i open my eyes is magic!

  • thats disgusting i think im going to be sick =/

  • auch OMG

  • but isnt that dangerous to touch with the thing on he eye.. omg... just watching this my eyes hurts ;;

  • ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • :X after watching i am more afrid of docters now

  • bizzi, I had the ocular replacement. Valium is GOOD...

  • ....that must hurt like hell unless there put to sleep or numbed

  • They use general anestesia, all I felt was irritated, but not much. :D

  • That was awesome.

  • yea!

  • GROSSSS!

  • this procedure is very simple,,,you dont need 3 ports..just one where you can introduce you lens .

  • omg..

  • wow this is amazing.

    i find this comppletely fascinating.

it annoys me when the bubble is left there tho!

  • Cool!

  • OMG!!!!!

  • eeeeeeeeeeeeeehkkk!!! IIiiiiiiiiiii!! Ahhhh oouuuu.... *Fainted*
