the guy without a shirt clearly trains some form of grappling. keep in mind that with strikes included and the rush of adrenaline, it will look somewhat sloppy, especially given that neither of these are professional fighters. nasty elbows btw.
in a 1 on 1 street fight, grappling always wins whether it be wrestling, judo or brazilian juijitsu grappling is important whether you wanna defend yourself or defeat your opponent.
RESPECT to both guys because this was a good, clean fight. The guy in the white shorts clearly won, but he did it with class. He knew there was no need to go further. The guy in the brown shirt lost, but he has nothing to be ashamed about. He got his ass kicked, but he took it like a man. Neither guy resorted to dirty tactics like eye gouging, biting, picking up a rock, or anything like that. They shook hands after, everything all pau. Nice to see a good ending to a misunderstanding.

Some bald dude is sitting on the curb, complaining that some black kid who trains in BJJ was making fun of him because he was a Traditional Martial Arts guy, and then the black kid shows up and then grapple a little bit, with the black kid putting him in a guillotine for a minute. The big bald guy yells, "I suggest you get the fuck off of me," and then they break and that's it. Anyone know where I can find it?? Thanks in advance.

Awesome ending to the fight. That's how every fight should end. The guy goes home to his family and doesn't have to worry about looking over his shoulder all the time. Great stuff and great display of grappling/BJJ integrated into a real life situation.

@chunglii8: at 1:26, guy on top leaves himself *completely* open to losing his side control. No one with any amount of BJJ training (6 months or more) would do that in a million years.
As I said, tough guys both of them, but neither of them has any BJJ training, at least as of the filming of this video. Maybe they had training in the form of "hey let me show you this cool rear naked choke", but not training at an academy.
I see guys make mistakes like these all day long. You get MMA guys who don't focus on BJJ entirely and they make a lot of mistakes that is easy to point out if you train BJJ exclusively. You add that to being in a street fight...(these are two friends, so if two friends are fighting he is obviously REALLY pissed..so you got anger involved) and you can see it is easy to make mistakes.
Even if he didn't train, basic concepts of grappling are being show and how it gives advantage.

But all he did was scissor his legs, which doesn't even control his opponents hips, meaning its about as useful as giving up side control. And oh man there was a perfect opportunity to take the guy's back, but he didn't even try, just wanted to throw him around.
Just because some one chooses to strike instead of go for an arm bar doesn't mean its not jiu-jitsu. Arm bars can't be escaped and you can end up in a worse position than you started if defended or escaped. He was using grappling for superior positioning and control.
@BJJStreetFight: sorry man, neither of these guys have the slightest clue about BJJ. No clue about mount escapes, no clue about any positional transitions, no clue about anything really. Both tough guys, but zero technique.
