@metrostarful - Why don't you? mp3s of this are easily found. You can use Audacity or any free wav/mp3 editor to crop down to 30 seconds (usually that's how long it takes to hit voicemail). Most smart phones will play mp3s as ring tones. If you don't have a smart phone you can google why format ringtone your phone uses and there are free conversion programs to get to that format.
I love this game, but I could never finish it. I just checked the HD on this and the Megaman link, it sounds fantastic! 8 bit in HD stereo was a great idea!
hard bastard of a game. my brother was miles better than i was. i only got good at games when i was about 8 onwards,but i still kep playing this. it was awesome.
the nes & games were meant for mono,but the nes soundchip/20a3 chip averagely outputs stereo, but nintendo had mixed it down to mono,the 20a3 chip was allready made before the nes existed (i guess it was used in the 60,s/70,s for fm keyboards),so hearing the games in stereo is awesome as it was intended by fm keyboard designers.??!!
I wish I had this for a ringtone.

@TheDudeYouHateToMeet
What pathetically thinly veiled spam is this? And you even insult him at your own profit.

Thank you, great quality! This was one of my favourite games as a kid -- top 3: Contra, Ninja Gaiden, Blaster Master.
