Also, let the meter air dry before you reinstall it. Only 125,000 miles? Hell, she's got lots of life left on her. My 99 had over 300,000 before I sold her. And she still ran strong. By the way, being a 2000 model, It should be rated at 239HP. My 99 was the same. Take care of her and she'll never do you wrong.
@djrhogan Huh? What are you talking about? I know that your car doesn't have P.I. heads. Mine didn't. I think it was actually 2001 when CV's got the improved 4.6, but regardless, your car does have a MAF meter. And if it's dirty, then you can lose lots of top end power. Can't help you on the rust, I'm not a body man. :)
Cool sound. Dude, you should try cleaning your mass airflow meter. Also, get some E3 diamondfire plugs, and a K&N filter. She'll roll out real good then. My 99 did after those few things. But, be careful when you do. You don't wanna damage the sensor. Basically you just remove the meter, spray some carb cleaner into the meter, both front and back. But don't blast the meter with the can up close. Hold the can of carb cleaner about 6 to 7 inches away and mist the cleaner onto it. Do both sides.
This car has 235 hp at stock. 2004 and up are rated at 250hp.

@BigChief427
Thanks BigChief, unfortunately my car doesn't have the PI heads, those didn't make it to the Vic until I think 02. I know the 99 Mustang's got them.
Now if I could keep her from rusting... LOL
