The propulsion, when its stopping, kinda sounds like the R46 propulsion (one of many trains from the subway system in New York City) when its stopping... This sounds cooler but R46 sounds more serious...
A lot of the stations in London have ticket barriers, so DONT bend your ticket! I did this and it buggered up as it went through the ticket barrier sensor so for the rest of the day I had to go through the disabled bit.
When stepping onto the train, I notice you have to step up a little bit. Is this the case at all or at least most Tube stations? On the BART trains in the San Francisco Bay Area, while there is a small gap between the train and the platform, passengers don't have to step up when boarding or down when disembarking.
It's like this at pretty much all stations, it's worse for newer trains because I think the floor is higher for more underfloor equipment, and LU couldn't be bothered to re-surface the platforms...
Yes it is, although there is going to be something 25% of underground station platforms will be step free (using lifts instead of escalators) and I think all DLR stations are also step-free, along with the Croydon Tram. I was going to suggest that newer underground stock caters for that, but it doesn't.
It's being solved at some stations by building a ramped section of the platform, it's like this at London Bridge on the Northern line. It looks hideous though, as the contractors haven't even clad it in the same material as the rest of the station...
in this station my friend salim works. i missed london and him.

Verry nice train! class 482 waggon? Verry small tunell (diameter aproximately 3,50-3,60m, equivqlent 138-140inches).

tunnels on the Central line are nearly 110 years old and are among the first of their kind, hence why they're smaller.

Yes, it's very difficult to get on without paying these days.

Those London Tube 1992 stock trains use Brush Electrical Machines model LT130 Direct Current (DC) traction motors.

I must say that despite the countless times I have used the Underground, I've never seen a mouse! I must be lucky!
