It would be funny that they dont name the movie at all till you go watch it at 1-18-08. As far as im concerned I would reserve tickets for 1-18-08 even if it is named "1-18-08" in the theaters. Recently, it has come to light that JJ Abrams is producing a film project currently known as Cloverfield, although this appears to be a working title. The first teaser trailer has been attached to prints of Transformers without a title. A post on Ain't It Cool News shed more light on the project, saying it involves an alien/monster called "The Parasite" and the movie is filmed with handheld cameras, on July 09, 2007, an HD trailer for this movie was was released titled 1-18-08.

I mean not everyone wants to see Transformers (Don't judge me I saw it twice already), but maybe some of those people would like this preview?
i really think it's parasite eve, cause i had remembered a scene on the game that looked similar to the explosion on the trailer. plus they say cloverfield means "parasite", i think. and plus they are supposed to make a parasite eve movie...sometime. that's my best clue.
Parasite Eve is actually a novel before it was a game. The Novel took place in Tokyo, not New York. There's a Japanese movie based on the novel, though I'm sure this is not related to novel, game or Japanese movie.
