Has anyone played both tekken 6 and soul calibur 4? I like both but dunno which one to get. About tekken i haven't played in a looong time, last tekken i played was tekken tag tournament or something and i played it for a few hours.. So my last tekken was tekken 2 i guess. About soul calibur i used to play in a friend's xbox (the original one) and i rememer i used to like it. But you know i never owned it so i can't know. All i know is i find sc4 characters more interesting

he's both. basically the storyline says that soul calibur takes place thousands of years before tekken (king of iron fist tournment). Yoshimitsu is the name of the sword I believe which both characters use. This is the ancestor of Tekken's yoshimitsu from whom he retrieved it. I don't even think it's like the master of tekken's yoshimitsu but like a great grear great great grandfather or something like that. They are 2 different characters with similar mannerisms.

a little tip is to use yoshimitsu's kicks a lot more, they kinda rule out everyone if you're quick enough with them ^^ and a grab/throw every now and then wouldn't hurt :D

not really, aim of the game is to kill the opponent, taki's moves might be quick but they aren't that strong. Get hit by one of astaroths combos though and you pretty much doomed.

Astaroth vs Taki, i would have to go for Ruber212's choice, It is true that Taki's attacks do next to nothing in damage, but she makes up for it in the speed and the combonations that the moves can be used in.

123eldest, I have a astaroth with 198 attack power, and around 120 health, he may be strong but the time it takes to pull off a combo/move isnt going to be enough when Taki is pounding down on his defences.

Btw, with proper use of soul syphon, you can last forever in the soul tower. Too bad i havnt signed up for ps3 online. by the time you can beat a cpu yoshi on edge master with 2 bars while you have one, your a master of the yoshi.

No offence, but the yoshi guy wasn't very good with him. He only started right once, with d-copter. the only real eligible start moves are d-copter, moonsault and the intimidate then [] move. After that, if he ukemis, do a clansmen and then a super dragonfly, followed by pressing [] and O and you've got yourself a perfect.
