  • I feel your pain. I've seen many junk cars that I would love to "adopt" and rebuild.

  • Christine was built in 57 but it was September. That late in the year made her a 58.

  • If you want to see a '57 Plymouth Coupe in action, check out a movie on here called "The California Kid"

  • to the tool bag that said Christine is a '59, you're a tool bag. next you'll prolly tell us that all of the cars in the mad max movies were made in the U.S.. and other such nonsense......

  • Who's the band and what's the tune? I love it!

  • @WizardOfChicamunga It's Iggy Pop - Neighbourhood Threat

  • Christine was a 1959 Plymouth Fury...so non of you were right lol..

  • @rossi19931 No, Christine was a '58. Get your facts right. 1957 and '58 Plymouths had the same body style (they changed a few things like the trim, the head- and taillights and the lower grille and stuff, though.) The '59 Plymouth had a completly different styling.

  • @rossi19931 Christine was a '58. The book and movie both took a lot of liberties. The movie car was much closer to a 1958 Belvedere Sport Coupe than a Fury since it was the wrong color inside and out.

  • @rossi19931 LMAO! You are wrong! Christine is a 1958 Plymouth Fury! Do your research...

  • @rossi19931 ah, no no. saveoldcars is right.

    Christine was/is '58 Plymouth Fury.

i thought every one knew that ;-)

  • y r amercan v8's so cheap ._.

  • has anyone bought her yet

  • @bensambob2000 Yep.

  • someone should have restored that and turned it into Christine!!!

  • lol if you look it looks like it usedd to be red and white from the movie and just as beat down maybe its christine haha

  • Beautiful car,it's just a damn shame seeing her in that condition.

  • @rdyrdek10 It's Neighborhood Threat by Iggy Pop.

  • hey what is the name of the song in this please tell me

  • Too far gone...I'd use it for a parts car, though. The windows and some of the chrome look okay, not to mention the instrument cluster and maybe some of the sheetmetal. It's only a four-door sedan, so it wouldn't really be worth fixing up.

The sedan delivery behind it at 00:14 looks like it could be in better shape and would be a more worthy candidate for restoration.

  • I definitely live in the wrong country. we were building morris minors back in '57

  • if i had the money, i would save this car and turn it into a christine.

  • Images like these really makes me cry, ppl should really save these classics

  • you could make ten jap cars out of that.thay just dont have any style these days.it still looks good even in this state.

  • ok,............show me!!!

  • @SaveOldCars I found like 7 cars at a abiundend grain mill I'll take sum pic and send them thanks

  • @MrZombies24 Awesome, my email adress is BTS-Auto-Service@gmx.de!

  • and so...someone bought the car?

    alex Brazil

  • i'm suprised it didn't regenerate (OO)===V===(OO)

  • Least now she's got a chance to maybe live again.

  • They got it for $336

    :)

  • @DakotaNowhere Yep, wondering who bought her!

  • I'd bid on that if I wasn't so broke. The drive wouldnt be bad since I'm in Iowa. But once again when there's a good deal... I'M BROKE! Damn. Oh well... I got too many projects anyway!

  • I would love to restore that beauty, but I don't live in america.. and i'm underaged probably

  • Damm alot of RARE nos parts on that baby most of them still there like grill bumpers trim dash wonder if the engine is still there ? Sad too see it ready too meet its death forever Cars like this is all ways too far too reach has too be allways thousand miles away I got the Money BUT too much too go get back to VA and no way too haul it back that far it would be a 3 day trip just to get there :(

  • @1968DodgePolara I feel you. Engine is still in there, it´s a 6cyl flathead. Rare option for Belvederes. The glass alone is worth that money as far as I can see.

  • @SaveOldCars I saw the Vid agin I notice its a 3 on the tree damm and those flat 6's are war horses I bet it can start up with just 100 bucks or less thats a rare factory numbers Car for sure ....

  • GEEZUS that thing looks pretty bad! Still would save it if I lived near there!

  • Hope there are some left when I grow up I want to open a shop in the USA with Ben and Arexion :) <3

  • @GodericG Heck yeah, that would be awesome bro!

  • Sending That Plymouth to the crusher is a crime. That Mopar deserves to be restored.

  • @bwild61 More than true. Luckily, someone already bid on it!
