The Twin Towers were not good architecture, and the only people who really miss them are usually hyper-patriots or people who have never visited a city and have no idea what this horrible skyscraper architecture did to the city skyline and the streets below (see the Twin Towers Alliance Facebook group). You guys need to move past your feelings and understand that the WTC was not nearly as amazing you guys like to imagine it is, and that we are getting something much better now.

I'll voice my opinion as well. As ANYONE with a brain can see, they were called the WORLD TRADE CENTER, and had 2 towers- duh! Now, look at their name, and their awe inducing size, and you'll see WHY the TWIN TOWERS HAVE TO BE REBUILT!!! They are a symbol of American economic might, and without them, we show the rest of the world how poor we are- why we're not rich, because we can only afford to build one 100+ sory building, not two- unless we actually do build TWIN 100+ story buildings!!!

PA doesn't give a shit what the people want, so it's best to just to accept the new complex and learn to love it all over again. Realistically that's all that can be done.

The Twin Towers became world famous icons even though they weren't popular with everyone when were first built in the 60's and 70's. It is never too late to do the right thing. It is not easy but it can be done. The Freedom Tower is being built on a lie. The Twin Towers can still be built!!
