Absolutely beautiful video! Christus vincit! Christus regnat! Christus imperat! Exaudi, Christe! This current papacy is a good sign for the things to come in Holy Mother Church.
Hey, for the organists out there: the organ piece is the Sinfonia BWV 29; transcribed for organ by Alexandre Guilmant. So full of joy and celebration!! Thanks.
This is my single favorite video on the whole website! But if you could please post the full name of the background organ music, I would be truly greatful because I would like to find the sheet music and buy it.
It's from his Symphonia of the same BMV - but you need it transcribed by the right person. This particular transcription is difficult to find, as it is actually a little sloppy, so go with the one by A. Guillemant. You can find it for free on the internet quite easily. It's great fun to play!
Bach wrote a Mass. This piece is a secular piece - it's a symphony. I have always loved to listen to it, and the day of the motu proprio, I made this video. It's not perfect. I like it the way it is. And no, this piece was not made for the Lutheran church.
Sorry, I'm taking Latin now, but I wasn't in the summer and was just becoming a traditionalist. Mea culpa! I'll try and remake this some day and fix all the mistakes.
Thanks Triune God, Holy Mother for this act of mercy to Your People. Help us to BE CAREFUL!... Tridentine rite does not have the purpose of making billingual or superior creatures, but deeper believers an help others with love to consider the highest act of sacred adoration.
Big Deal! He only did that in response to ArchBishop Lefebvre consecrations. How come you didn't put Lefebvre picture in the video, lets face it, if it wasn't for him their wouldn't be no motu propio.
Wonderful! Now all SSPX has to do is get back in full union with the pope. At this point, saying continually that without archbishop Lefebvre the Motu Propio would never have happened will only buy SSPX relevancy for about ten more years. By that time, the Motu Propio's implementation will be on its upswing.
Catholic Guy ... thank you! I used yours as the first example in my "Summorum Pontificum Celebrations in Media (The Holy Mass) Invidual Treatments" E-news letter from our Apostolate, Eucharisitic Adoration of San Antonio
How Do I that .. this public comment area to post doesn't permit links .. I tried to send it with the first comment I posted. I even used +whatever+ as no ISP can convert the cross and make it a hyperlink.

Oremus pro Pontifice nostro Benedicti XVI. Dominus conservet eum, et vivificet eum, et beatum faciat eum in terra, et non tradat eum in animam inimicorum ejus
Very nice!! We are living in tremendous times. The bible says that where sin abounds, grace abounds even more! In this culture of death where belief in God is scarce especially in many places in Europe, its great that we now have a great weapon to help us defeat this spiritual malaise: The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in all of its glory!!! May Jesus Christ be praised!
EXULTATE!!!!!!! JUBILATE!!!!!!!!!!

A little hint: You should write "Sancta Maria, Mater Dei...", not "Sancte Maria...".
(Sancte is the vocativ for a male saint).

I know...I've explained the mistakes in previous comments.

This song is also the prelude for the third partita for solo violin, written by Bach.
