  • IM TRYING THIS RITE NOW AND I FEEL LIKE A SANDWHICH :D

  • @JessyProductions lol :)

  • ok thank you

  • thank you . but is it ok if ijust used the mayonnaise?

  • @tattherup88 sure

  • awesome tip! thanks

  • do u shampoo it off?

  • @YurieAplus Yes I would :)

  • I dye my hair too and it is soo dead. I've tried mayo before but it smelt so bad :(.

  • sooo i live in a small town.. meaning that everything is expensive because it's brought from other places. is there anything i can use instead of avocado? i thought of using an egg but i'm not sure if that would be wise of me. or if it was ok, if i should put in the whole egg or just the egg whites or vise versa..

any suggestions? btw, is this good to use if i want to grow my hair out? i got a haircut yesterday but the stylist got carried away that she THINNED my hair in addition to cutting it!

  • @nncee29 I hate that I had a hair dresser do that to me !!!! it sucks. try using olive oil instead, about to table spoons full heat it for 20 sec in microwave apply to hair for 30mins wash out and use shampoo and conditioner.

  • @nncee29 sorry to hear that...lots of hairdressers use that `shedding technique`...however, I read in a book that a good hair dresser would never do that to someone`s hair...it is the worse even if your hair is thick...just to let you know.

  • I'd probably end up eating some of that avocado mayo... Have you tried coconut oil in your hair? It's the best hair conditioning treatment I've ever used :)

  • @cholulalv coconut oil is fantastic!

  • it stinks

  • I put my mayo and my cream for 3 hours and I notice that my hair is long. Also when I was a child my mom made me SLEEP with mayo and advocado and in the next day my hair was so so so so shiny. Everyone were asking me what I do and saying how beautiful it was.

  • using avocado does not change anyone's hair it's only make your hair healthier. I am a home remedy queen so I can tell you for fact that it'll not affect the color.

    rsanter1223

  • After you put it on your hair, do you wash it out in the shower with your regular shampoo and conditioner, just shampoo, or do you only rinse it? Thanks. :)

  • @Whillowe after you apply, let it sit for a bit , then you rinse it out with shampoo. if needed you can apply conditioner if hair is still dry or if you have dyed hair.

  • will your hair grow

  • @strawbellana it wont physically make your hair grow. But your hair does grow faster when healthy

  • @glamology OMG! right now I just realize that mayo really help to hair grow! I'm doing this like 2 months ago and my hair is pretty longer ^.^

  • Your hair looked a little green lol

  • @Tocowbell lol I think it is just a bad dye job. with blond hair it can look green or beige.

  • wat about an egg olive oil and mayo hair mask can we do that twice a week?

  • Nice!

  • melted cocnut oil is the best though, it honestly works wonders.

  • @CareBears93 cool thanks for the tip :)

  • I tried this already not that great

  • @soxxyfox Really do tell your experience ! You have to make sure the avocado is ripe. that it is rinse fully off and that you use half the ingredients for fine hair.

  • @glamology It was ripe...I included other ingredients too from other sources but it had no effect.... but it didn't damage it so I guess it's alright

  • @glamology is it for kids too?

  • @strawbellana yes you can use this on kids it is safe :)

  • @glamology cool beanz! cuz im a kid

  • Can you use regular conditioner or leave in after using this

  • can u use guacamole..or however its spelt..ima boy but i want my hair to be softer lol

  • @CrazeyBoyz lol no avocado is better :)

  • @CrazeyBoyz trying to be silly....zzzzzzz

  • Do you rinse off with warm water or cold?? And do u work this into your scalp and the top of your head too??

  • @Shoppingstar525 Rinse with warm water and work it into your hair/scalp.

  • @glamology thank you so so so so so so much :D

  • @Shoppingstar525 your welcome! :) xo

  • @glamology do you know a good shampoo to give my hair shine?? ( i wanted to try out Aussie for my hair. I heard good reviews on it. It'll be my first time, just cuz i feel like switching up my routine and seeing what'll happen. I don't like ever touch heat, coloring, or highlights on my hair though)

  • i used to do this to my hair and it felt great but then it stopped working all of a sudden D: like i usually leave it in for an hour and then rinse it off but then i stopped seeing and feeling the difference and my hair is still dry and frizzy D:

  • @benniiee123 hmmm have you tried any other hair conditioners that give you more hydration?

  • @glamology no i havent. usually i put olive oil, mayo and half an avo when i do this. should i increase the amount? i have thick black shoulder length hair.

  • @benniiee123 Yeah, I would try increasing the amount incgredients, work it longer into the hair and leave it on slightly longer amount of time. Other problem may be if you hair is treated such as with color or other treatments. That may also affect things.

  • @glamology narh my hair isnt colour treated or anything. man i wish my hair was straight and not wavy lols. it got wavy when i first layered my hair but my hair isnt layered anymore and its still wavy D: im trying to grow out the waves if i can and then cut it.

  • when i use only the avocado my hair feels greasy and it seems wet

  • @iamaprinces1990 Did you rinse it out completely?

  • @glamology yes

  • first off your gorgeous second i just tried this and just wondering what i do afterwards like rinsing was i supposed to ur warm of cool water and do i use shampoo after as well i did cause the smell was something i'm not use to smelling everyday i did use baby shampoo cause it was best recommended so tips ASAP please?

  • @hatathle07 aw thanks! yes, you can use shampoo to rinse your hair completely of the conditioner.

  • We learned this at college. love your accent!

  • @TheBenAppleby :) thanks

  • Your hair looks realy healthy, great tip:)

  • @tammiejj2 :) thank you

  • Aah okay then thanks im going to try this later.

  • Hhhmmmmm!!! Ima try this but before i do does this work on a boys hair? Because mine is always so dry and frizzy when i let it dry. So then i have to put sum gel or sumthing into it so it looks shiney.

  • @Frankavilla08 yes this will work on guy hair tooo:)

  • Sweet..not only does it cost a lot...you just do this once or twice a week...ive seen other videos they put some olive oil in addition to avocado and mayo..any difference?

  • @circledata45 Yes it's richer

  • Thank u for the advice . my daughter n I will try it this week!

  • @roseestrada7 your very welcome

  • How do you know when you hair is hydrated?

  • @shamil222 it will be shiny smooth <3

  • @glamology Thanks! =D

  • would you be able to shampoo your hair before doing this or will it totally ruin it? or should you shampoo after?

  • @benniiee123 yes you can use shampoo before this treatment :)

  • thnk u dear it realllllyyy work my hairs are shine smooth n silky thnk u so much

  • Comment removed

  • thnk u fo the help ur soooooooo cute!!!! :)

  • @christierockful aw thanks

  • hey i have medium lenght hair n lil thick after washing my hairs when i dry them naturally they become lil rough n without shine so can u plz suggest me sum treatment which i can do fo my hairs

  • @christierockful try Oilve oil :)

  • can i use olive oil instead of mayo cause it smell yuk

  • @christierockful hehehe you sure can:)

  • Comment removed

  • @christierockful Yes I do !!!

  • I have really bad split ends, but my hair is layered so i guess that would be why.. is there any way to help not make the ends of my hair split? would this work?

  • @Nekologic yes this type of heavy conditioner will help to reduce split ends. You can also try massaging in a little jojoba oil after drying your hair which will also help to hydrate and reduce split ends

  • did youre hair smell weird after?

  • @lizicecream no :)

  • I usually use 1 avacado (i have thick hair) and a half a cup of olive oil. I do it every 2 weeks and i love my hair after. I leave it in for 15 minutes, shower and wash my hair. Ever scence i have been doing this treatment my hair is silky shiny and soft! I dont use mayo because i hate mayo and the smell. So if your like me and hate mayo use olive oil

  • @Fweda998 Great suggestion!

  • does this help add shine? Mine is colored a light red it looks dull. but when i color it it looks healthy and pretty shiney.

  • @aprilknights It will add a little shine, however, fruits mixtures (citric acid) will add more shine to hair. You could try a treatment with blended fruits, you could also try

    a hair rise:

Stir 1 teaspoon of honey into 4 cups (1 quart) warm water + 2 tablespoons of raw apple cider vinegar. After shampooing, pour the mixture through you hair. Do not rinse out. Dry as normal.

  • This is great! and you're right, it really worked you're hair looked really really soft afterwards!

I have a question though, mayonaise is like a protein right? so what if I add an egg to the mixture, would that be okay? or would that just ruin the treatment??

  • @heysnoopyADA you could totally try ! let me know how it goes

  • yes I have change my hair color to more natural:) Realized how toxic it is to color your hair all the time

  • I love ur hair... on ur channel in ur vids ther is a woman w/ brown hair. Is that u

  • I love that show <3 and sookie :)

  • you look like snookie from TRU BLOOD

  • not terribly :)

  • does iit smell

  • =) i loved that, im going to try it, are you supposed to rinse it from your hair after the 20 minute wait?

  • yes you will love this one not as rich like the oil treatment

  • thats sooo cool ur awsome =D

  • awe thanks <3

  • Do you know what I can use instead of avocado? I don't have any atm. Also, would it be best if use this method everyday?

  • you can use just the mayo it works just as good:) and I would use this once a week or every two weeks this is rich

  • im kinda scared

  • LOL of what the mayo or avocado hehehe

  • @glamology

    bothj its semm wierd

  • try it out you will love it:)

  • could you use just mayo?

  • you sure can

  • ohhkayy. thanks :)

  • ugh the mayo i cant stand it lol

  • hehehehe it's not for everyone:)

  • You are my hero! hahah xD

  • :) hehehe thanks

  • I recommend using German beer for healthy, shiny hair. I used to do it when I went all-out crazy at the rock clubs. My hair is the wilderness...want to get lost in it?!!

Extra-virgin olive oil works too =D

  • LOL

  • I have greasy hair. Would this mask make it even greasier or not.

  • add a little lemon to this treatment if you have greasy hair <3

  • thank you for the vid going to try it now :D

  • you will love this <3

  • Thanks so much for the idea! =) I'm most definitely going to try this. But, I do have a question; i have curly hair, and trying to apply something like this when it's dry is near impossible...so would it work just as well if i dampened my hair first and combed it out?

  • oh for sure dampened your hair first and then apply <3

  • your welcome <3

  • does this make your hair smell gross?

  • You would think right ? but actually it doesnt at all.

  • you use shampoo. It's really a pre poo

  • It would be even better if you made homemade mayo but mixing olive oil (you could use canola or vegetable oil if you want something cheaper but warning olive oil is way better), egg yolk and lemon juice. Then mash in the avocado. Store bought mayo has preservatives and added ingredients that isn't too great for your hair. Sure it will work ok but not as good as homemade.

  • That's very true! Thanks for the recipe <3 I'll see about posting a video with that.

  • The only down side is that olive oil is a pain to get out of hair. I shampooed my hair 3 times (leaving it in for a few minutes each time) and did a vinegar rinse to get it out. Of course I did leave it in for almost two hours so maybe that was too long. But it is super shiny!

  • LOL Yes thank might of been to long,

  • try using a clarifying shampoo. it works :)

  • it really did nothing because your hair is already good ;p

  • lol - thanks :) but it does work

  • simple and effective :)

  • thanks <3

  • Thanks Beth for all the nice comments. for me it is still the weekend I have Sunday Monday off<3

  • Hold on...its probably not still the weekend there. Its a public holiday today in the UK, hence I'm still in weekend mode! lol

  • Great video..I love that you've actually shown more of how to make it and how to use it - thats so much better than some videos where the person just talks to the camera! Hope you're having a good weekend xx

  • I do this. Sometimes with just mayo...since it's so dry where i am, it works wonders!

  • omg! i am so going to favorite this video!

  • thanks guys<3

  • Great tip! :o)

  • such a great idea! too bad mine is soo short that it's not there long enough to get dried out - if i color it, it gets cut out in 2 hair appts. i love your tips!!! i'm going to be trying the edamame recipe soon. yummy

  • thanks so much<3

  • i'd rather eat the avocado, yum ! lol.

    good idea though !

  • lol <3

  • Your gonna overload me with these great concoctions. LOL.

I've made a note to try this one also!!

  • I can;t wait to try this!

  • ooh, I'm so going to do this!!! I will also do it on my daughter, she will love it!
