i just saw Elephant 6 down in Lexington, KY and i was wondering if anyone is familiar with the song with the lyrics "you know i love this place, more than it shows on my face" screamed by Scott Spillane. I'm not sure what band it was, but i really want to know what the song is
I believe it's a Gerbils song that is sung on record by someone other than him. At the Columbus show he introduced it saying that the singer couldn't be there as he is pursuing some sort of architecture degree but that he (Scott) was gonna rock the shit out anyway.
lol that song is called lead its off the gerbils first album, and I know the guy who sings it, he isn't doing shit but he wasn't on the tour, incidentally the band is playing shows again now
To add to the cast, I believe that is Scott Spillane of Neutral Milk Hotel and the Gerbil playing horns, and of course the man playing banjo with the vibrant yellow shirt is none other than Julian Koster of Neutral Milk Hotel and The Music Tapes
