The thing is great but its crashing always when i got drums done and added 1 or two synths on it and not saving so im losing all my job.Fun but waste of time.Im running it on iphone 4 soft ios 5.01

@soulclappin The most common reason for crashes are memory problems caused from infrequent rebooting. Reboot your iPad or call our support team and they can help you.

newest version of app 2.1.0 and newesi IOS 5.0.1 result crash straight after the splash screen shows. Wifi on or off, bluetooth on or off makes no difference = sad mercurius

This is the SynthStation I think. Nice app with sequencer, 3 synths going at once plus drum machine and lead and you can record too. The demo is very limited but the app has a lot more to offer.

@RaialMusic The SynthStation app is three synthesizers in one, each with its own editing functions. You can use the preset sounds or create your own from scratch. All sounds are generated from your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. SynthStation25 is a hardware controller for the SynthStation app and really helps with expression thanks to velocity sensitivity, and extended controls.

Can this software use the new line6.com / midimobilizer hardware? It would be SO cool to just plug in a small MIDI controller like the M-Audio Oxygen-8 and have this as the multi-track recorder, synth / sound engine and signal processing!!!

this app is "aiight" i think the other beatmaker app is better

@Nautik909 There are some significant difference between SynthStation and Beatmaker. SynthStation has three full synthesizers in it, each with three oscillators, each with full VFC and VCA controls. There is also Portamento, an Arpeggiator and an effects engine. SynthStation and Beatmaker are quite different from one another.

No latency in the sound I'm hearing :) Unless yer talking about the visuals and believe me, that's the iPad's graphical handling, not the app.

@AkaiProVideo guy, whens it out? Can we see more synthy demos? I'm thinkin of getting a Pad for all the musik apps comin out and this one might put me over the top. (I think I saw Akai drum pads in there.....and I may have drooled a little on my keyboard)
