Actually the X-ers can win, if you can pilot the gunship well enough to avoid at least some of the AA-missiles coming at you. Fly behind the Radar Array to avoid the AA unit and start blasting! If you can avoid the AA again do the same with the Missile silos. But by then, a moderate player, could've at least know what you are doing and shoot you down.

@SgtGaryRoach While it's true that it's possible for Xylvania to win (I should know, 'cause I've done it), the Frontier has the advantage, especially during the HQ defense. It's easy enough to take out the Radar Array and Missile Silos, but when it comes to the HQ, that's when things get tough.

But I'm not sure if the frontier really has the advantage... Since, after destroying the missile silos and radar array, all Xylvanian units respawn at a high speed. They might have to go a long way to get to the HQ, but with their high spawn speed, the Frontier advantage is almost gone, would you say?

A common trick on this map is to fly the Gunship over the trees on the left and bombard assets from the back. It's a bit of an exploit, but it does certainly even the odds.

It is possible for the X-ers to win. Trust me, I've been on defence and lost. That may be more to do with the fact I currently suck at Assualt, but all you need is some good tactics and anything is possible.

I got a strategy.

Use your heli to destroy the Raday array 'N co.

Then get your troops through the defending enemies,and hurry to the HQ.

Send a few soldiers to fight,and a few soldiers to capture the HQ.

if you are on the xylvania side you must send your troops to the enemies and use the hellicopter to fly on the right side above the trees so that the anti air machine wont hit you then fly behind the radar aray and the misil silo's so the the AA wont hit you then its easy to win
