I met the guys from black stone Cherry after a local gig and Chris Robertson (guitar/vocals) told me he used this one but he kept breaking them by stomping on them too hard (but apparently he is a hard stomper). Hope that helps. It's the one you hear on their records.

pretty much there is a slash model which is the same thing modded with a shitty distortion but dont get that to get a wah sound close to what he got on appetite and the other gnr albums you should get a distortion tone that sounds good and sounds like the tone you want, and then use this wah, the distortion on the slash wah is shitty and fake sounding, don't be fooled by the name on the box, this wah will work just as well if not better than the slash model.

@tellurideisawesome Dude, Dunlop didn't become a serious company until 72, and Jimi died in '70. The first crybaby's were actually made by the Thomas Organ company, which was owned by Vox, who made the Clyde McCoy wah and they produced both models, but eventually ditched the Crybaby line and Dunlop picked it up.

Jimi MAY have used a crybaby pedal, but it most definitely was NOT a Dunlop model. Just do a google images search for Jimi at Woodstock, he is CLEARLY using a vox wah

great pedal, i bought 1 the other day, only thing is i just cant understand why they havent got an led indicator on it to say weather its on or off though, i used it live for the first time last night and you find out the hard way if youve left it on after a lead part by continuing strumming with this verry harsh tone! still though its a great wah pedal, probly the best!

Miles from the best! I modded mine! made it true bypass! changed the Fassel and taper! the thing came to life! :) check out modded crybabys on-line, there not that hard to do, just abit of soldering and afew parts. The higher quailty Fassel and Taper will cost the most though
